item: choc chip salted caramel. cookies were overbaked. no one at tates is monitoring this? when you eat the cookie the overwhelming taste shouldn't be burnt cookie dough. I ordered the week of oct 12, 2026

I was in Target in Plano, Tx. And picked up Tates Bake Shop cookies. I’m not impressed at all. Way too sweet. Horribly sweet even. I love cookies but I rarely eat them anymore. When I saw these I decided on a whim to grab them expecting value and excellence. But I got neither. Grossly sweet and only 8 cookies to a package. The price was over .70¢ a nasty cookie. You had one chance to impress me, and you failed. I will not buy this name brand again. I will also steer others away. Worse on my trust offered in advance I bought two packs. I gave one away, to see what they thought. They didn’t like them either. Sorry Tate’s, and good luck.

I'm usually a fan of the crispy thin chocolate chip cookies but not this last purchase. The cookies were too overcooked! I can usually taste the chocolate chips when I take bites of the cookie but not this time. I tried calling the company phone number listed on the package but kept getting disconnected when asked to press 1 for English. HORRIBLE!

I love the crunchy cookies. Bought walnut chocolate chip. Dsappointed by an after taste from the chips. Maybe they arent semisweet?

Been using for 5 years for my business. Spend$1K every year. Since being bought out purchasing through the website is torture. Preferred original owner. Big buyout company awful. Went to Edible Arrangements for corporate gifting.

I used to love these cookies but the oatmeal raisin has changed. Cookies are smaller and chewy! I have purchased oatmeal raisin cookies many times so I know there was a change. What I loved about Tate's was the crispy texture. It's annoying that they are making them smaller, too.

They make the BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES in the world! I order them as gifts from AMAZON & everyone can't believe how awesome they are! Even as graduation gifts, especially guys love them! Bought them for friend who had covid & she said they were unbelievably delicious. Recently had them sent as a Housewarming gift! Were a big hit! They have other cookie flavors that are excellent & u can get assortment, & mini chocolate chip. They come in TATE'S bag, & they are crispy & buttery and taste homemade! And fresh because they are! What a great find!
