Came faster then expected

Delivery of my shoes was very prompt, and as a matter of fact, they arrived earlier than expected. The shoes did give me a little bit of discomfort, but that is primarily because they are brand new and I'm not used to wearing shoes like this. In spite of that I love them very much! The Calden 5.2-inch boots give me the exact boost I need to feel confident. Great stuff here!

The 2.6" Caldens are great. Less expensive than buying the insoles with a pair of name-brand Converse, looks almost the same, and overall feels like a better quality shoe anyway. I'm so short that unfortunately nobody noticed I'm suddenly almost 3 inches taller... haaa... But, I FEEL better knowing I can make eye contact with my boss and a few others without having to look up. I think I am definitely being read as older by new people and customers which results in a noticeable increase in respect (especially in how other men talk to me). The only thing I'd warn others about is: these are NOT work shoes. Unless you've got a cushy office job and don't need to be standing and walking a whole lot, anything bigger than an inch of elevation is probably going to Destroy your feet. It gets a little easier after a few days, like the package says, but still wouldn't recommend for an 8 hour shift or a walk around town. Even so, for such a solid shoe, they're very comfortable in general, and the soles have a bit of cushion/ give to them, which is a pleasant surprise. It is definitely worth it for meeting new people and improving confidence overall. Will probably be great for social gatherings after there is some herd immunity against covid in the US! I almost forgot: shipping was INCREDIBLY fast. I think they have a fulfillment center near me, because standard shipping took maybe 2 days after ordering and there they were!
