Talent.com is extremely misleading
Talent.com is extremely misleading when it comes to salary information. The platform consistently publishes salary ranges that are far lower than what people actually earn in real life. It seems clear that they present these figures this way to attract companies looking to cut costs, but this practice is completely disconnected from the economic realities of each country. By promoting themselves with such inaccurate data, they are not only deceiving job seekers but also causing serious harm to the labor force, especially in Latin American countries. Instead of empowering workers, Talent.com’s misleading salary information undermines their value and contributes to unfair hiring practices. I strongly advise job seekers and employers to verify salary information elsewhere before trusting what this platform shows.
Response from Talent.comSep 9, 2025
Hello! Thank you for sharing your comments. We regret that the salary information on our platform did not meet your expectations. We want to clarify that on Talent.com, salary ranges are generated from aggregated data from various sources, including published job postings and aggregated data from third parties. Therefore, they may not accurately reflect all real-life situations. However, we understand the importance of improving accuracy, especially in regional contexts, and we are constantly working on it. This is also why we always recommend using these ranges as approximate, not definitive, guidelines. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve. If you would like to send us more details or suggestions, please email us at [email protected]; our support team will be happy to review them.
