Beware! They damaged my car by improperly, putting on the skid plate after not putting it on right in the first place. They told me my oil was done and pull out. Hear a loud metal sound which was my skid plate hitting the bay. They then installed it with zip ties. Over a month or so later it fell off. Parts and labor cost me $250 to replace it. Went back to them. They told me it wasn’t their fault. I would not ever come back to this place.

Would like to give 0 stars
Would like to give 0 stars. Took truck in for an oil change before a road trip. The oil change guy(can't say mechanic cause he was not) shows my husband the air filter and he says change it and the guy proceeds to put in a totally different shaped one that he has to be crammed in and has a corner cut out of it. So we go on about our trip and the motor starts to get hot without totally over heating. We check antifreeze etc which are fine. It gets hots a few times and then we notice we have a leak. We have to take it to our mechanic and our radiator has sprung a leak. Meanwhile as he is replacing he looks at our air filter and notices that it is completely wrong and he pries it out. Very noticeable that it had to bend to go in. So for two months we had the wrong air filter restricting in some areas and a gaping hole letting all the dust a road dirt directly into our engine and oil. Our mechanic said the filter they put in was for a diesel motor not ours!!! When we went through all the legalities we were give an oil change. Don't know if they replaced the filter and the price of ghe filter without the tax which wr also paid for. Now if we have any motor issues down the road I will have to go through the whole painful process again. I am very unhappy and wouldn't send my worst enemy to Take Five for any car work!!!

Bad experience not worth not having a vehicle
On April 21, 2026, I visited Take 5 Oil Change for a routine oil level check and top-off after having my oil changed about a month prior. I have used this location multiple times without issue; however, this visit was different due to a new associate servicing my vehicle.
The associate checked and topped off my oil but failed to replace the oil cap. The very next day, my vehicle began making unusual noises upon startup, and within two days, black smoke was coming from the exhaust. Due to work constraints, I was unable to address it immediately, but when I finally had the vehicle inspected, I was informed that the oil cap had been left off, causing oil to spill throughout the engine compartment and into even the ground.
This negligence created a serious risk of engine failure and required me to spend $800 on degreasing, oil treatment, and another oil change to correct the issue. This was entirely avoidable and directly caused by improper service.
I am extremely disappointed in the lack of attention to basic procedures. This type of oversight could have resulted in catastrophic engine damage or total vehicle loss. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and strongly caution others to reconsider using this service provider.
I am requesting reimbursement for the $800 in repair costs due to this incident. This is not just a bad experience—it is a clear service failure. Forgetting to replace an oil cap is a basic step, and the consequences I described (oil spraying under the hood, smoke, engine noise) are exactly what can happen when it’s missed. Negligence that cost me $800 to fix. After looking more into the business, Take 5 has an enormous amount of liability and lawsuits cases—research for yourself. 5 minutes of a quick oil change isn’t worth gambling my vehicle for and I’ll rather wait 1 hour in the future than risk not having a vehicle at all.

Not coming here again
Normally, I Give this place five stars. But not this time. I showed up Sunday around 1-2 pm. We were directed to one side but they were having difficulties so moved us to the other bay. Which we had to sit there and still wait for the other side to finish do to the oil being unable to drain in bay 1, so they had to put it in buckets and carry it over to bay 2 to dump. They did the normal oil change and said how old both the cabin and engine air filter were and that they should be changed yearly. I am currently on a super tight budget so I asked how much they would be and was thinking about getting them from Walmart since I know where they are located and not too hard to do. I was told it would be taken care of and he had me but never told me what the price was so from what I understood was he was being nice and giving for free. He told me he had me twice. They changed the filters and I thought he said it was $115 well the oil change since I have so many miles is $99 before taxes and he said he gave me a 25% discount. I didn’t do the math but then handed me the receipt, price was $150 with filters. I took the receipt and no one knew how to reset the light that comes on for an oil change. Said there was more wrong with my car and to go to one of the auto shops to have them run tests. I then look at the receipt they charged me for both filters and never told me the price. $150 later and still had to google how to turn off the oil light to do it myself. And the price they charge I could have gotten at least 2 filters for the engine and for the cabin at Walmart and did it myself. Figured out how to reset the oil light myself. This is the last time I think I gonna take my car there. An earlier time they left the top oil cap off and so oil pushed out everywhere. After an oil change there a bolt to a piece under my car went missing and was told it was my problem they didn’t do it, so the piece is still hanging down. I can see why each time I go there is a new crew. No one seems to really know what they are doing. Just wandering around hoping to get it right. And nothing said either

Do not take your car here and…
Do not take your car here and definitely not 9725 Manchester Rd. I went here for what I thought was a simple oil change. I pulled off the lot and my car did a jerking motion like it was backfiring. an hour later the malfunction warning signal and all the dashboard lights came on. My car shut off while in idle three times. I called the shop and drove it back to them and it shut off three times while driving. I was told by the worker they may have knocked wires loose from the maf while taking out the air filter , which was never requested. I told the guy changing my oil I didn't want anything extra but the oil change. The man at this shop said it was nothing they can do even though nothing was going on with my car prior to me bringing it to them. Now my car will barley make it up the street, its vibrating, shaking, and won't stay running. It stops at every light and while sitting.
Then they proceed to “ offer” me the option to change the air filter “to see if that helps”. Little did I know it was not offered to help rectify the damage they caused because o had to pay an additional $30 on top of the $90 oil change. How convenient to “offer” the one item I declined originally as a solution to the problem.
This place is sketchy and damaged my car and won't take accountability. This place deserves zero stars
