Springfield MO location, had an issue where I was planning to change the oil myself and couldn’t get the drain plug off. So I had already purchased the oil, just needed the existing drained from my car. I only went here anyway because Walmart was going to be a three hour wait. They charged me $40 to pour in the oil that I had ALREADY PAID FOR. Should’ve had them drain it and then poured it in myself in the parking lot, but they did it all before I had realized they were going to charge me dumping it in. They’re fast, that’s about the only good thing they have going for them.

Incompetent Service Technicians
I took my vehicle to be serviced to the Take 5 Oil Change location on 5202 Cortez Rd W. Bradenton Florida. I also had them check my tires. When I returned home I noticed that my tire valve caps were not put back on my tires which was on them before I went to Take 5. I went back to the same location and asked the service person to put them back on and I was told that they could not find the tire valve caps!! I find the service people to be very incompetent-did they throw them out?? Obviously they do not recheck the vehicle to make sure that everything is good to go and replaced the parts that were on it before they worked on the vehicle. Now I have to buy all new tire valve caps. I do not recommend going to this location if you want a thorough job done. I certainly will not be returning!!

Take 5 location 102 in Oklahoma City…
Take 5 location 102 in Oklahoma City was a mess! It took an hour and fifty minutes! They refused to take my coupon because computer was "down". Math isn't hard. The so-called mechanic was glorified garage help. She wiped the oil from the gage on her sleeve! Every time! She was a mess. Hand prints all over my hood, bumper, door handle. Spilled oil all over the engine. Didn't wipe it up. Car stinks now. The most unprofessional experience I've ever had. Take 5. Take 5 hours. Over priced. Not busy. Messy. Unprofessional. Back to doing them myself after this BS.

Beware of This Company's Service Practices
This place is a total scam. Besides charging me nearly $100 for an oil change, on my receipt they checked that they had performed ALL OF THE FOLLOWING. Checked power steering fluid, coolant level, transmission fluid (engine has to be running to do this, so I know they didn't...), washer fluid, checked wiper blades (I would have replaced them had they bothered to check them), cabin filter, cleaned my windshield, and checked tires. I deliberately let out 4 pounds of pressure on one tire to see if they checked and set tire pressures for each tire- they didn't. Yet all of these items were hand checked on my receipt as being done. A total lie. If they don't do these items I can see, then they probably didn't put a new filter on either. $100 essentially for an oil swap. Then...just try and contact their "Customer Support Hotline." It's followed with a voice response system that tells you "No agents are available, leave a message" to which no one will contact you. This place is a total scam. I don't mind paying for service but there were 9 things they checked that they performed on the car, and NONE of them were performed- and I am highly suspicious that they didn't even change the oil filter and lied about that as well. Seems I'm not the only one with complaints about this disreputable operation. If I could give them ZERO stars I would.

Can't get my refund !!!!
I went to Take 5 for a state inspection. Before the inspection they made me pay---then when trying to do the inspection they couldn't calibrate their machine. I then went to a Toyota dealer and had it inspected. Take 5 said they would credit my card back the $25.50 but have not done so after several requests. Then they said they'd mail me a check---never got a check. It's been 3 weeks since this happened. Can't really contact corporate office and the blog says they don't deal with refunds. Sorry way of doing business.

Took my car to take5 and got an oil…
Took my car to take5 and got an oil change. An hour or so later my engine light came on. They hooked it up to read the code and it was a misfire. I took it to my cardealer and it found out too much oil was in my car that caused the oil to go through the oil intake. Oil was found in my airfilter and the oil pan. Oil also burned on the spark plugs which caused the misfire. I spoke to the district manager and he told me it wasn't their fault and won't pay for it. This damage was $1400

DO NOT USE TAKE5
After purchasing my vehicle, my first oil change I had done was at take five off of US 19 in Newport Richy Florida. Everything was fine besides them charging me $100. The second oil change that I had done in my car was at the take5 location off cassat ave in Jacksonville Florida. Everything seemed fine after I got my oil change done and paid $95.95. Then when I recently went to get a oil change done right before Father’s Day, because I was traveling to go see my father on Father’s Day I went to the take5 location in Newport Richy again and they denied my service due to the Jacksonville location ruining and stripping my drain pan plug. The Newport Richy location said they know for 100% fact it wasn’t like that when I came in the first time because they wouldn’t have serviced it and they would’ve told me to go to a mechanic. Then I went to Walmart to see if they could do it and they said I need a new oil pan also. I’ve been calling and emailing take5 corporate to resolve this and CAN NOT get a call or email back. ZERO STAR RATING!!! DO NOT GO TO TAKE 5
