They changed my oil but did not put the drain plug tight which fell off and burnt my engine. I had it towed to a dealer which informed me of the problem. I contacted the manager of Take 5 who gave me their insurance company number. After a month of giving them all the prove they declined to pay. I am now in the process of taking them to court.

I am broke down, engine is gone. The mechanic said Take 5 oil change had a total of 8 quarts of oil in my Subaru. It broke down on highway. I am sleeping in my car because I am stranded, scrambling to get back home. I am so frustrated I could cry. I had the engine rebuild on this Subaru and changed the oil as regular as possible. It’s the worst. I have been calling the customer service and writing all day. Nothing yet. I am at a total loss

PSA. I used to like take 5 oil in Langley. The last oil change I got there, they also replaced my air filter.That filter was faulty, and caused check engine light, complete with codes.Vehicle went to Preston GM July 9th and I got it back July 11th. Preston determined air filter is faulty, and replaced it fixing codes and check eng. light. I contacted Take 5 and the owner Jeven Bath, from Suky Bath motors, who owns Take 5, and basically was told they will do nothing for me. Sounds like 2 businesses I would avoid as they care not for you the customer and left me with a $450.39 bill.

Avoid this company like the plague! They overtightened my oil filter on a previous visit and therefore could not remove it on a recent visit for an oil change. Manager told me that he opened a case and that they would be in touch to send me to a local mechanic to remove at no cost to me. This happened over 2 weeks ago, and no one has ever contacted me despite me calling and leaving multiple messages for store and central customer service in Charlotte over the past 2 weeks. TERRIBLE customer service to fix a problem that they caused!

I went to the take 5 in largo Florida and they change my oil and when I got home my whole driveway was full of oil. So I immediately drove back to take 5 and told them they forgot to put my cap back on or something. They refilled my car with oil and told me I had a defective cap. It’s basically a brand new car with no problems until they touched it. So got my next oil change I go back in and get an oil change 2 days ago and I even mentioned it to the guy make sure he puts the cap on right. He said well it was defective which it wasn’t, but they said they put a new one on so. Now I have oil all over my driveway again and didn’t even realize it until my neighbor just texted me and said there’s oil all over your driveway. My car almost stalled on my way to work tonight. So they did it again. And I’ve been driving around for 2 days with no oil in my car. I would put in what I think about them but this pansy site won’t let me.

I brought my 2024 gmc 3500 in for an oil change in May and was told they had no info on my truck. They said the info would be in within 2 weeks. I went to Mobile oil change and had no issues. I'm due for another oil change and went to Take 5 again and they still don't have any info on my truck. Going back to Mobile and will stay with Mobile no more take 5. I drive a lot of miles so my oil is changed every 2 months

BEWARE!!!! I had the worst experience with an oil change at this location. First off, they dropped a screw in the engine area that was removed from the air filter box and never replaced it. They spilt oil on my engine cover and half a** cleaned it up. The undercarriage engine cover (skid plate) that has to be remove to access the oil pan was missing 2 bolts and not secured. It has 4 bolts that hold it in place under another plastic part. I was told they were having trouble with it and that’s why it was taking so long. When I arrived home I decided to look everything over. I found my sto-and- sho plate holder hanging by one screw (2 missing). The skid plate engine/ oil pan cover under the car was moving around due to missing bolts. I had to jack my car up and spend an hour figuring out how to re-align the covers they had taken off to change the oil. I secured it by placing bolts diagonally across it until I can pick up the new mopar bolts. They had bolted only the back two bolts in and the front side was just tucked up under another plastic piece. I feel like they just gave up trying to put it back on the right way and decided to tuck under the front piece and keep all 4 of my bolts - all together my car is missing 5 bolts/screws due to their incompetent negligence. I tried calling the number listed to let the manager know but was never able to be connected to the store. I kept getting an automated service. When I spend $160 on a premium synthetic oil change, I expect better than this.
