To Whom It May Concern,
To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the service and handling of a reimbursement issue with Take 5 Oil Change located at 1151 S Chambers Rd, Aurora, CO 80012. After being promised a reimbursement check for a previous issue, I’ve been subjected to repeated delays, vague communication, and what I believe to be intentional avoidance. I was told on a Saturday that the check needed to be “tracked,” but I later found out the check was already in the office — meaning the tracking or delivery confirmation was already available. This makes it feel as though I was deliberately misled. I have made multiple follow-ups, stressing how urgent and important this is for my family. Yet I continue to receive excuses rather than firm answers. The most recent response I received was another delay, stating they’d “get me an update after lunch,” with no actual resolution or tracking details ever shared. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and a complete breakdown in trust. As a customer, I should not have to chase down something I was promised weeks ago — especially something as simple as mailing a check and confirming basic information. I am requesting the following: • Immediate confirmation that the reimbursement check has been mailed • Full tracking information • Confirmation that the check was issued in my correct name and address • An explanation of the delay • A formal apology for the runaround and emotional strain caused If this issue continues to go unresolved, I will be escalating through the Better Business Bureau, Colorado Attorney General’s Office, Federal Trade Commission, and will leave public reviews across Trustpilot, Yelp, and Google to warn other customers. This kind of customer treatment is completely unacceptable and reflects a lack of professionalism and accountability. Sincerely, Monique Ward
