Foo Fighters concert tail gate on August 15. Let’s talk about the positives first. They had pretty good food. They had free drinks. The line to get in moved quickly. The music was good. Now let’s talk about the negatives. 1. There was not enough seats to go around. We ended up sitting on the ground crowded underneath the BBQ trailer for shade. 2. There wasn’t enough covered seating or just tents to shade the sun. The event was held at 230 pm on the hottest day of the year. There were heat advisory warnings days prior to the event. They could have easily counted the number of tickets they sold and planned accordingly. 3. They only had one food vendor. BBQ pulled pork or chicken wings. 4. The drink cups were tiny and they limit you to 2 cups per person. So if you have a shaded spot and want 3 drinks two of the three people have to go get the drinks leaving one person to defend the shaded territory . 5. They ran out of water multiple times but would announce over the speaker for all guest to hydrate. For all those people, they had two small coolers of water. The coolers didn’t have ice in them. It was hot. The water is gone!! All in all this was a money grab. We did not get what we paid for.
