Super UserReviews of superuser.com

User frindly good job

My Windows laptop crashed recently, but I did manage to recover most of my personal data. I asked the repair man if it was possible to recover my old Sticky Notes. He said yes, " ....it should be in the SNT File, StickyNotes.snt". However, he couldn't show me how to do this! Therefore, I Googled this, and stumbled upon Super User. I immediately checked out their site, and my question was answered! Problem solved!

I actually joined this site, but left because of the bullying comments by some users, I won't tolerate such behaviour or be part of a group that does, 40 years experience has given me a lot of knowledge and because I write a response in an easy to understand language, instead of techno babble, doesn't give anyone else the right to behave as if they are superior. It is the sort of attitude displayed by those that have a little but not broad knowledge, they have lost my experience and no doubt others with far less knowledge will be put off asking a question for fear of being belittled by a so called "Super" user. I hope the website looks at this and reminds all users to respect others and not criticise or be dismissive others when replying. Reading a comment today reminded me to write this review.

Imagine that you are looking for an answer or a procedure to solve a problem and the website's response is to close your question, saying that it will be out of date in six months. Yet there is information there that is thirteen years old that cannot be used :-)

PÅ deres hjemme side skriver Super Users, at der er garanti for afholdelse af deres kursur uanset deltager antal. Det passer så bare ikke, da jeg lige har fået at vide at et kursus jeg er tilmeldt ikke bliver afholdet.
