Mr. McFadden, Thank you for your order with Suitcase.com. The order was placed on the late afternoon on the 1st. The order shipped out on the 3rd, which is normal processing time (24-48hours). These ship from our Florida warehouse. You are located in California and the free ground shipping time is 5-6 business days to get to you. UPS was and still is having delivery issues in California due to the storms that have been ravaging the area. According to the tracking numbers for the 2nd piece, it should be delivered today. The second piece did ship out on the same day from the same location as the first. Sometimes shipments get split up during the the busy holiday season. We appreciate your order and hope that you are pleased with the products you ordered. We make very strong efforts to ship as soon as possible. Edith, We are sorry for any miscommunication or misunderstanding with your shipping times. As stated on the website standard shipping times are 5-10 business days. Typically, standard GROUND orders get out the door within two business days once orders are received and we first saw the order on Monday. This shipped on Thursday so it ran a day later than normal, so our apologies for the extra day delay as this was shipping from the manufacturer directly and they were backed up a little. We see that you received on the 7th business day as this shipped from the East Coast to West Coast, but again we apologize if the timing was other than you anticipated or were explained. Benjamin, We appreciate your feedback and will be looking for ways of improvement. We see that you placed your order on July 27th and the order did take until July 10th to get into your hands. With free ground shipping orders the processing takes 2 business days to get out the door, and then a week to get to you. This particular item did ship from the west coast. With the July 4th holiday weekend in there the shipping did take longer than usual to get to you, and there was an attempt to deliver before you received the item. After speaking with a few representatives her, it looks like the only concern was the fact it was a 3 piece set and only the larger piece was damaged.
