If you've ever needed the words out of a video, you know the options aren't great. Retype it yourself, pay someone by the minute, or download software that wants your card details before it'll tell you whether it even works on the linkyou have.SubGrab is simpler than that. Paste the link, get the transcript. That's thewhole thing. It works on 28 sites — YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Vimeo, LinkedIn,Twitch, Rumble, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox and plenty ofothers. If the video already has captions, we just use those, so you get anaccurate transcript almost immediately. If it doesn't, our AI listens to theaudio and writes it out. You end up in the same place either way: text you canread, search and quote, with timestamps so you can jump back to the exact momentsomeone said the thing you're after. Download it as TXT, SRT or VTT.If you'd rather not read the whole thing, ask for a summary and you'll get thegist, a breakdown of what's covered when, the main takeaways and any numbersthat came up.There's no subscription. You get 2 free credits when you sign up, and after thatcredits are a one-off purchase from $2.99 that never expire. An hour of videocosts 1 credit. You see the price and agree to it before anything is charged, and if we can't deliver the transcript you get your credits back automatically.SubGrab is run by Oceanx Consulting Pty Ltd, a small Australian company in NewSouth Wales.
