Student ChoiceA group of leading credit unions saw a need in the marketplace for a better private student loan – one that was actually in the student’s best interest and honored the credit union philosophy of putting members first. That common ground gave rise to CU Student Choice – a company that serves credit unions so they can offer fair-value student lending solutions and straight-forward advice to students and members. By working together, credit unions across the country are providing students and families with the funding they need.

The application process and required documentation are all electronic, secure, easy and all in one website, not too many emails, fax or physical emails. Also see loan application progress clearly by logging to the secure website.

This was the worst loan process I have ever experienced. I have great credit score so does my daughter. The denied all my daughters documents her diploma transcripts her employment and so on. Even there loan experts couldn’t understand what was going on. I needed 3 years worth of taxes and 3 months of pay stubs. I refinanced my house easier than refinancing 20,000 in student loan with both parties making a good income. I would look elsewhere. The also payed off the other loan to much so now we have wait for the refund. Worst loan experience ever.

Hello, and thank you for your time leaving a review. We understand that the refinancing process involves lots of detailed information and document which can be frustrating and time consuming. Our goal is to help families through the process and make sure everyone has a good experience. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your unique experience - obviously it is not reflective of the service and efficiency we strive for, and perhaps we can improve our process and communication. Please let us know if it would be ok to reach out to you via the contact information provided during your applicant process. Thank you. *note, please do not provide personal or identifying information via this post.

It took several weeks (months) to get my son's loan approved. I would never recommend this company for refinancing. EDIT/UPDATE: Your response says to let you know if you can reach out to me, but there is no reply button for me. But yes, you can reach out to me.
