I have an increasing mid/high range hearing loss, and I've gotten to the point where I simply can't use a conventional stethoscope. After doing some research I decided to get this model because I was concerned that an over-the-ear model would have low frequencies under-amplified by my hearing aids. It's only a minor inconvenience having to remove my BTE hearing aids to use the stethoscope, and I'm very happy with the sound quality.
