I don't know about the stethoscope since I'm an Engineer, not a Health Care Professional. But I was really disappointed with the laser engraving. The example showed the engraving around the bottom of the "bell" of the stethoscope, so it would be easily visible to anyone who looks at the stethoscope. But the actual engraving was obscured by the pipe into the "bell". It is really hard to read.

My pkg arrived today there was a sticker on a very damaged pkg. from usps saying we received the pkg damaged. As far as I can tell the stethescope seems to be working although I thought the sound would be better.

The item arrived quickly so that was great. The engraving is so small, I didn't even see it. I know there is not a lot of space, but clearly a type size up or two would fit the stethoscope.
