too high cost - captive audience
The plastic rim on my stethoscope fragmented. for my mandatory $20. plus shipping i get yes, a new rim which is not hard plastic so perhaps not so likely to break but VERY expensive for what it is - tho necessary to make the whole apparatus work. i feel a little taken advantage of that i couldn't just buy the rim (or two of them) that in a padded envelope woulda cost maybe $10. instead of $20 and 1/2 the shipping. I also wish steh.com made/could make a few customer service fone jobs to realize this kind of specific ordering. But it IS comfortable to have my stethoscope operational again. Thankyou
