If the product was any good they wouldnt need aggressive sales tactics. I was harassed by a male salesman at cancun airport, who first tried to lore me in by complimenting my very basic sketchers. He then tried to bully me into coming into the store and wouldnt stop. The experience made me very angry

While on vacation in costa maya
While on vacation in costa maya, I was approached by a salesperson handing out free samples, immediately she said she was going to try it out on my eyes. At first I said no thanks after a few attempts I agreed along with my sister. She started to apply the eye cream when a young man came over and started to take over here’s where it all wrong. I said I would purchase the product since I did see some puffiness went down. After that he became aggressive trying to sell me a machine to remove wrinkles, I told him that I could not afford to purchase it and he started to use words like you don’t want to take care of yourself and became humiliating and aggressive, he told me that your products were made in the USA. I wanted cancel my purchase but he had my credit card and ID and the way he acted I was worried that he might use my personal information. After reading all of the reviews I think your are not being represented in a positive way , forcing people to purchase your products are not how to run a company.

I was approached yesterday by a man in…
I was approached yesterday by a man in Battersea Power Station and told that he had a product that would reduce my bags and wrinkles(!). He put some product on and at first it seemed to work. High pressure sales, telling me it cost $2k in the States, but I could have it today only for £150. I left …and it itched so I washed it off in the nearest toilets. I’m
surprised Battersea Power Station allow this company to sell there.

Je me suis faite alpaguer à l’aéroport…

I was completely sucked into the hard…
I was completely sucked into the hard sell at Cancun airport. I was sold a ‘revolutionary’ eye cream. I’m embarrassed to say I bought it and now have what I can only liken to burn feelings on my eyes. It’s ripped the skin from my upper and lower eyes. Lesson learned!

I wish I had seen these reviews before…
I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased two Stem products and I will be doing that with similar products going forward. I was sold them at a Health and Wellness conference on Mother's Day. The organizer stated that all of the vendors were thoroughly vetted. I was approached by a fancy couple from a high end business as soon as I walked into the vendor area. They convinced me to let them try the products on me even though I had makeup on and didn't want to mess it up. When they used the wrinkle cream on me, I think I did notice a difference but it definitely was the intensely pushy sales tactics they used and "throwing in" a couple other services that pushed me to buy something more expensive than I normally would. I decided that it would be a Mother's Day present to myself. I had the same experience as I read on a couple of the other comments here. I was told that the wrinkle cream would last a year and after a month it's almost out, even after using it sparingly. I don't see the results that I thought I saw at the event and am noticing more wrinkles. I'm particular about what I put on my skin and now I'm concerned that the ingredients aren't organic and chemical free like they guaranteed me. I definitely leared a lesson and will make sure the organizer of the event knows about this and never invites them or anyone else selling Stem products to a future event.

I was genuinely shocked
I was genuinely shocked by the overall experience with Stemtox in Capri. Despite being a relatively new brand trying to position itself as “luxury skincare,” everything about it felt extremely cheap and poorly executed.
I saw both of their pop-up stores in Capri, and honestly, the stores were almost empty — huge white spaces with barely any decoration and just a few tiny white bottles displayed in large white windows. From a visual merchandising and branding perspective, it was a complete anti-marketing experience. You could barely even notice the products from outside because everything blended together. It looked unfinished and low-budget rather than premium or innovative.
What made the experience even worse was the very aggressive sales approach. The staff outside the store were literally selecting tourists they assumed could afford the products. One of the salesgirls physically stopped my boyfriend outside the shop and insisted repeatedly that he come in. We were clearly in a hurry, yet she kept pushing us to sit down.
Without asking a single question about allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions — which is extremely irresponsible, especially around the eye area — she immediately applied a serum under one of his eyes to demonstrate the “instant effect.” I personally work in the cosmetics industry, and basic skin safety questions should always come first before applying anything to someone’s face.
The serum itself was presented as a “revolutionary” product costing around $1200–1300 for a tiny bottle. However, when we looked at the packaging, there were no visible ingredients listed on the box — only a QR code to scan. In Europe, ingredient transparency is extremely important, especially for cosmetic products. When we asked the salesgirl what ingredients the product actually contained, she admitted she had arrived only two days earlier and knew almost nothing about the product she was selling.
The entire presentation felt unprofessional, inexperienced, and manipulative. The salesgirl also started making passive-aggressive comments because I was clearly uncomfortable with unknown substances being applied so casually near my boyfriend’s eyes. Yes, there was a temporary tightening/filling effect, but nothing revolutionary — just a superficial cosmetic effect from synthetic ingredients.
After checking the ingredient list later on their website, the product turned out to be full of synthetic compounds despite the brand trying to project a “high-end wellness” image. They also sell overpriced skincare devices with similarly inflated pricing.
Most importantly, this kind of aggressive tourist-trap marketing feels completely out of place in Capri. Capri is associated with authenticity, elegance, natural beauty, and refined luxury — not pushy sales tactics and overpriced synthetic skincare sold through pressure tactics.
I absolutely would not recommend this brand or this experience.
