Steambow Inc.Reviews of steambow.com

The limb I ordered came unassembled. It may look easy to assemble, but I would prefer manufacturer accuracy in centering and tightening the limb to the holder. The limb is strong (Magnum). And, not cheap. The string it came with started cracking from the sides, where it connects to the limb, only after the first shot. I expected an upgraded string that can hold up, and an additional one given that I'm buying a stronger limb.

Magazine needs fixing! Bolts are not secure when loading and unloading Bolts. Too many accessory items out of stock! Accessories are too expensive.

Cool idea, easy to put together, decent power on the 75 pound draw. Small things I don't like although. Arrows it comes with , even on cardboard, they break. Simply put. Also when removing the mag, if all the arrows weren't shot, as soon as the mag is removed, the arrows just fall out.

Packaging could be 10x times better than just a couple zip ties, the little sight on the front is basically pointless so don't expect something useful on that. Magazines are alright wouldn't stuff 10 bolts in it like they say it can hold. Assembly directions are probably the worst I've ever come across. I've only shot it a couple times since I don't have an actual useful sight on it. Cool concept but defiantly get a red dot or something for it.

Excellent quality as expected. Packaging was wreckless but I am glad the small items did not slip out of the openings.

The description of the contents of the case is a little misleading if you miss the side note as I did you think you're getting things that you're not.the m10 it self is as you know a great product putting it together as we speak.

Purchased the survival bundle. The crossbow is very cool but I should be able to purchase just the crossbow without the junky bag and extras. Another gripe is the ammunition. There’s no way to match the arrow weight for target practice and hunting arrows. At over $10/arrow I’m not practicing with broadhead bolts. They also don’t offer a practice tip on a bolt that is rated for 150# limbs. There should be a practice bolt and broadhead bolt of the same weight grain rated for 150# limbs. The bow itself is also flimsier than I expected. All that said the bow itself is very cool and fun to shoot so I’ll be keeping it but overall customer experience isn’t the best. I feel like I should be able to buy just the crossbow for $250 instead of $400 for the bundle.

Bad direction and no case
