My experience was great, the ordering was easy. Looking at the picture of the plant that I ordered, I sure hope that it comes in healthy and in a good size. I have ordered in the past from other places and it just wasn't what I expected at all. Looking forward to seeing what this shrb will do next Spring. I always wanted a Lilac but never xmcould find one that stood out, but when I saw this I thought now this one stands out!!

I have ordered from Spring Hill for over 30 years. My Mom ordered for many years before with great plants. I also used to live close to their nursery in Ohio and would go there and pick out my plants. I used to order through the catalog many years ago, and of course, ordering online is much easier. (telling my age.lol) You have to keep in mind that a lot is Bare Root, meaning you get something that looks like a stick with roots; the plant is dormant but alive. Over all the years, I'd say 99% of the plants thrive after planting. Of course, now and then you might get a dud, but that's with any plants. I used to be a landscaper, so I know how to properly plant, but if you don't, just follow the directions, and you will have lovely plants too. I once ordered 15 butterfly bushes; they were about 5-6 inches at arrival, and the first year they were over 3 feet tall. I usually trim back the dead to about 6 inches on a lot of my plants anyway, so they regrow new growth every year; this increases bushiness and flowers a lot. If you plant your plants right to begin with, you will have beautiful plants for years to come.
