I love the program but keep in mind that it is very intense. I have a pretty consuming full-time job and it can be challenging to balance both. The team has always been super supportive. We are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and they’ve been very flexible with scheduling. The mentorship aspect is the biggest plus for me!

It’s been amazing so far. I love the structure of the curriculum. The opportunity to have a mentor guiding you through the creative process and a career coach through the job search is invaluable. The information provided is top tier. However, I have noticed there is filler information that the course could do without and the design exercises could be more graphically oriented aside from the existing ones where you re-modify an existing design. What I mean is that, in the footsteps of graphic design, certain methods and processes should be developed throughout the course in order to be able to develop a creative tool or strategy in order to express design in UI. Otherwise, great so far!

Awesome experience. The curriculum is well thought out and help is available most of the time. The selling point of this program is the mentors and I find my relationship with my mentor to be invaluable, he is very knowledgable and super patient with me gives great feedback, and constantly pushing me towards improving the quality of my work which is exactly what I need. There's an active slack community of students and great weekly office hours that cover various topics which I find to be very good. Student advisors are fantastic and very proactive.

I recommend Springboard's UX Design Career Track because of the project-based curriculum, along with the abundance of resources that are provided along the way. While in the Career Track, your assigned mentor and other mentors within the program will provide great value as you try to understand best practices and industry standards. I couldn't imagine learning everything on my own, so it's been an incredible experience to learn about design as a whole and understand what is expected for anyone who is trying to break into the industry.

I enjoyed the curated course and the mentor support. I was matched with a mentor who could recognize my skills and provided me great feedback. The course was challenging and yet mightily rewarding. The Springboard community, with the forums and office hours, were always a reliable resource. The only thing I had an issue with was the Deep Learning track. It is not detailed enough and there were no mini projects. Learning from curated videos is hard, but it's especially hard when the subject is deep learning. I had to resort to other resources to get understand many concepts in the deep learning track.

The mentorship is amazing. I think the curriculum and exercises could be improved upon. Since they come from various sources they are sometimes disconnected unclear or confusing.

Overall I think the content material is a great start to helping those get started in the field of data analytics. That being said, would be nice to cut down on some of the earlier units and focus more on the more technical aspects of the course that involve coding. I have yet to complete the course or secure an offer given the current coronavirus environment but am pleased with the experience so far. The most valuable parts of Springboard are the mentor calls, career services assistance, and online community of fellow learners.

Helpful tutor-guided projects practice. Depends on your own choice the project difficulties and impacts may vary. Having the career advisor to help on the interview is probably the most valuable portion of the program.
