Going into the law school application process, I did not have a full understanding of the level of nuance involved. I am so glad that I chose to work with Spivey Consulting, and specifically, Julia Truemper. Julia is so thoughtful and prompt. For me, as someone who absolutely hates talking about themselves, writing a personal statement is practically physically painful, and it really helped to have someone to give honest feedback and encouragement along the way. Having someone who could also speak personally to the application process was invaluable for my peace of mind through what ended up being a longer and more convoluted process than I initially anticipated. I remember Julia assuring me that "waitlist admissions do happen!" and, like most things, she was 100% right- I am now headed to my dream school in the fall, with a scholarship that I definitely didn't anticipate. I highly recommend working with Julia and with Spivey!

Hi! I worked with Sam Parker, specifically focused on getting into HLS from the waitlist.
