Horrible customer service. They cancelled their own race and will not refund, then they offer a lousy store coupon for less then the cost paid for the race. I will never again use or recommend this company or service. Other venues willingly offered a refund due to COVID and made it easy to want to do business with them in the future. They are happy to lose loyal customers who will do multiple events over 1 entry fee, clearly their ethics are misguided. 100% do not recommend their services- just go check their BBB rating, Yelp, and Google reviews - you’ll quickly find they are terrible and do not deserve your business.

Truly awful experience thus far. Signed up for a virtual event and paid £30 for a wedge and shirt. 2 and a half months later, nothing from them. Every email is ignored. I left a negative review on google and rather than contact and resolve they simply ignored and hid their google reviews! Awful company. 2 refund requests in so far, still no response. UPDATED - Spartan contacted and said they would 'look into it' even though they know full well the situation as per them posting such on their social media. I then get a random email a couple of days ago to say it has only just NOW been dispatched from the USA and will take a few weeks to arrive. All requests for a refund at this shocking service ignored. I've asked that they return this and issue full refund. By the time it arrives it will be 4 months from point of payment. Avoid avoid avoid avoid

TOUT SIMPLEMENT DU VOL!! a éviter a tout prix, il on encaissé notre argent, ne respecte même pas la loi car refuse de reporter l'inscription a l'année suivante, pire encore, vous demandez des explications sur leurs compte Facebook et ils vous bloquent. Un scandale, la gestion de la crise Covid est déplorable ....! Boycottons Spartan, même pas capable de faire une report sur 2021 comme les autres organisateurs de course.

mit den schlechten Transferoptionen hat sich Sparten Race in 2020 absolut disqualifiziert. eine Verschiebung um ein Jahr zu den gleichen Konditionen wäre 100-prozentig fair gewesen. aber diese 70 % 30 % Regel ist absoluter Quatsch. andere Hindernisläufe wie beispielsweise Strong Viking haben es auch anständig gemacht und einfach um ein Jahr verschoben.

As a former customer of Spartan their recent behaviour is inexcusable. To try and claim that it will take 6 months to offer a refund for a race that was cancelled due to COVID-19, when being unable to offer an alternative date, and to complicate it for people who have booked as a group, is wholly unacceptable. As a former customer I certainly won't be using this company again, and won't be recommending it to any of my friends, family and colleagues (quite the opposite in fact) as they've completely lost my trust and support for the way they're treating their customers. There's going to be a few companies who come out of this COVID-19 situation and realise that you can't treat your loyal customer base, who are your bread and butter, like second class citizens and not expect repercussions. Appreciating current environment but this poor customer service feels more ingrained. I have had numerous closed, or ignored requests, been advised of different processes and whilst I can book and pay as a group, cannot cancel as a group or approve refunds for each member. Truly disgraceful experience. I have 90 days to rebook another as yet unscheduled event but 6 months to refund!
