I am in England and my passion is Rail Travel. I found South America Travel in a very lucky random search and was a little sceptical at first. I wanted to go to Peru and my main criteria was to travel on the monthly train Lima to Huancayo, then on to Huancavelica in the Andes. In addition I wanted to travel to Machu Pichu and go on the Andean Explorer Cusco to Puno. We travelled to Lima, Huancayo, Machu Pichu, Cusco, Puno, and accross Lake Titicca to La Paz Bolivia At every stage we we were met by local guides, who accompanied us on tours and kept us safe. The whole holiday went without hitch or delays and the accomodation was very good - better than I expected. Clara organised the whole adventure, all hotes, trains, tours, luxury buses, internal flights and local transport. It was a fantasitic experience. I will deffinatly use them again for my next visit to South America.

I was somewhat nervous about the trip for the following reasons. I was based in South Africa and communicating via e-mail with a travel agent in South America some 8000 kilometres away. It was not as though I could walk into a travel office and get all I needed. I was totally reliant on the e-mail communications and trust that all will be organised. I paid for all my flights, accommodation and tours by credit card over secure internet sites linked to South America Travel. Clara Tort who I dealt with from the first enquiry I made about 12 to 18 months ago was always willing to respond to all the questions I asked. From the 1st transfer from Sao Paulo international airport to the hotels, to the tours, to the domestic airports, to the ports and back to the international airport to fly back home was very very well organised. Clara definitely knew what she was doing. South America Travel is a reputable company and good to deal with.

We enjoyed a successful trip to Argentina including Buenos Aries, Salta, & Iguazu Falls. All the hotels arranged for us were to our liking. Day tours and train trips took place without a hitch. Our travel agent worked with us constantly revising plans and making sure things went smoothly. We would recommend working with SouthAmerica.Travel to our friends and family. Many thanks!

We want ro see caranaval in Rio de Janeiro, But we can't find an organizer here in Germany. Fortunalely we found in the internet SouthAmerica Travel. And fortunately there was a helpfull lady who speaks German. She organized our trip to Rio de Janeiro an Salvador de Bahia, It was absolutely perfect. We can recomment SouthAmaria Trevel. You will be in the best hands to travel.

We started with some dought, being picked up, then someone else to take you for a city tour, then an other person to take to the bus stop next day. then came the best part we met people from lots of different back grounds and with they own stories to tell. By day three we got it and the tour become just a wonderful experience filled with lots of wonders, unbelievable beauty and the most important thing, love and respect for the people in Peru. We recommend everyone to go and see this wonderful country first hand and appreciate it wonders, may it be the sights or they culture. For me Machu Picchu was the pinnacle, after 63 years of waiting, my wish come through. Thanks you for this gift.

From the initial planning stages of my trip to South America ( 2011 ) I felt confident and assured that Travel Consultant, Laicie Ireland would put together the itinerary that would fulfil all of my expectations, she exceeded my expectations. She made sure that I visited all of the most popular places of interests, I had no complaints whatsoever with the hotels she selected, they were very secure, located in very nice areas and the staff were very hospitable. The Tour Guides were very courteous, quite knowledgeable, humorous , always prompt and let's not forget patient whilst on tour. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit throughout South America, kudos to Laicie. I would without hesitation recommend South America Travel to anyone who is planning to visit, in fact I gave my itinerary to a few friends on my return to Bermuda and when I do a return visit , I will definitely be contacting South America Travel .

We have used South America Travel twice now to arrange quite complicated trips to South America even though we live in London. They could not have been more helpful or patient with us. They arranged all our internal transport, tours and guides. The fact that we were travelling in new territory for us which could have been quite nerve racking, this made our trips so much easier and everything went without a hitch. Clara was amazing in helping us. It was also reassuring that we were using an expert in South America travel and that there was someone to contact locally should we have needed it. They are also competitively priced and offer more ideas than using an English travel agent. Two of our friends have booked with them this year.

We travelled all around Argentina and did Rio and Buzios in Brazil in March 2011. I was recommended to use Juliet at South America Travel by a friend. She was fantastic and put together an awesome itinerary, suggesting excellent ideas, hotels etc. It was a pleasure working with Juliet and I will definitely use South America Travel again in the future
