Our agent Clara Tort has been very professional and responsive in planning our trip for next Feb/March. Hoping for a smooth and wonderful vacation early next year.

My wife and I just completed one of the most wonderful tours of our life. The dream trip was made possible thanks to SA Travel. They made it come true. I wish I could add two more stars to rate SA Travel as a 7 star company. Beginning with meticulous planning by our Travel Consultant Claudia Corona who took care of every conceivable details, the tour rolled on with clock like precision. We visited many exciting places in Brazil, Argentina and Peru in about three weeks in the company of knowledgeable guides who were punctual in all the locations. We learnt a lot from them who were also caring and accommodative to our needs. We have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone wishing to visit South America. They are indeed the experts and TRUSTWORTHY.

Clara Tort helped me tremendously since day one, even when I was trying to squeeze all of the countries we wanted to visit within a short time frame. She provided me all the activities and prices, which helped us choose the best option for our group. Our tour is not until next year, but everything was made possible through the help and expertise of Clara Tort. Looking forward to visiting all of the countries listed and can’t wait to see all the beauty of South America on our tour next year.

Clara Tort, our South America Travel agent was fantastic from our first conversation right through to the end. Sometimes there was a delay in getting some answers during the planning of our trip however we had many months up our sleeve to plan and none of our questions/adjustments were urgent. We travelled through Peru, Bolivia then onto Chile which included a trip to Easter Island. 100% of the travel companies, transportation drivers and guide, attractions and hotels arranged by Clara throughout Peru and Bolivia were amongst the best service we have ever received. We were delighted with all of our arrangements. The only improvements that I could suggest were; 1) We had only 1.5hrs up at Machu Picchu because our train ran late, there was 1.5hr or more wait in the line to board the bus up to Machu Picchu and then we had to allow this same time to get the bus back to the train in time. Would have loved to have known this ahead of time - we would have either stayed Aguas Calientes or caught an earlier train from Ollantaytambo then a later train to Cusco. Our local guide was fantastic to push us through the line at the gate for Machu Picchu, otherwise we would have had even less time there. 2) the two hotels (Easter Island and Santiago) were away from the centre of town. Our hotel in Santa Cruz more than made up for those last two hotels and all other hotels were perfectly located for us. Despite these two small points, we managed to squeeze as much into our itinerary as physically possible which was made possible by Clara. We had an excellent experience and felt very well looked after, which resulted in a great trip to Peru. Our consultant, Martin Kaleta, was outstandingly helpful and patient with us.

My friend and I recently returned home after our South America trip in August 2018. (Brazil, Argentina and Peru). During the trips, the transfers were mostly on time and the hotels selected met our expectations and are in great locations in each of the city. Generally speaking, the tour guides are good, knowledgeable and patient. We enjoyed our holiday trip, as the planned itinerary works well, though we have to get up very early on a few occasions to catch a train or flight. We would like to thank Martin Kaleta for putting up and recommending the trip itinerary and also to the South America team for ensuring that the travel plan went without any hitches. I have used SouthAmerica.Travel for 2 years in a row and they are fantastic! I tend to book my trips only 4-6 weeks before my departure, and they were not only able to completely accommodate me, but took all the stress of planning off of me. My first trip last year to Ecuador was seamless. Our guide and driver, Mauricio, spoke perfect English, was knowledgeable, and was punctual. The hotels were all very nice, and we stayed at some big names and other boutique locations. Those were a real gem! This year we did the Wonders of South America trip. Our flight to Lima was cancelled due to mechanical problems, causing us to miss our first day, but the company diligently worked to get us to Machu Picchu on time on our second day and rearranged our Cuzco/Sacred Valley itineraries to fit in as much as we could in one day. Our guide, Melissa, was extremely knowledgeable! After we experienced a poor guide in Iguazú Falls, they dealt with the problem very quickly and efficiently, and we were pleased with the outcome. Our guide and driver in Rio de Janeiro, Renato, was wonderful! SouthAmerica.travel hires very good people. I felt safe while traveling and knew I was getting a fantastic experience with them!
