Dear Julia, We're pleased to hear you had a great trip. Thank you for the feedback on the hotels at the Iguazu Falls and on Easter Island. On Easter Island, with the exception of a couple of much more expensive options, it is true that most of the hotels there are fairly average. In large part this is due to there not being a great deal of competition and the remote location. We'll take greater care to explain this to our future travelers and recommend that Easter Island could be a good place to consider a splurge on a higher hotel category. At the Iguazu Falls, there are a good range of hotels from simpler ones up to excellent five star hotels. Again, we'll be sure to explain the options more carefully in future. It was certainly unfortunate that the border crossing between Chile and Bolivia was affected by snow. This is not a common. We're pleased that the Uyuni team were still able to get you into Bolivia via another crossing. On Easter Island, hotel options are much more limited than on the mainland and with a couple of high-end exceptions (which I think we should have discussed with you) they do tend to be more basic.
