Great wine & experience! Ordered 3 bottles of wine as a gift. Recipient loved the wine :) Would order again!

Excellent Wine Tasting Experience in Comfort of Home. Experienced professional tasting that introduced some non-traditional varietals from Oregon. Enjoyed the education on the wine making process, grapes, and the winery. Have sought out the sampled wines in Portland.

I had the pleasure of attending an exquisite wine tasting organized by Sommsation, featuring the remarkable Alberto Agerro Wines from Italy, vintage 2001, and it was nothing short of a sensory journey. The event was a masterclass in elegance, with each wine reflecting the artistry and passion of the winemaker. The 2001 vintage was the star of the evening, showcasing beautifully matured wines with complex layers of flavor. The first pour, a Sangiovese, had a rich bouquet of dark cherry, leather, and earthy notes, perfectly balanced with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. It was a true testament to how well this variety can age. Next, we tasted a Cabernet Sauvignon that was equally captivating. It revealed a tapestry of ripe blackberries, tobacco, and subtle hints of oak, offering both structure and sophistication. This wine, from one of Italy’s finest vintages, had aged gracefully, with just the right amount of complexity. The sommelier guided us through each tasting with insight and enthusiasm, making the experience not only enjoyable but educational. The intimate setting added to the charm, allowing for engaging conversations about the nuances of Italian winemaking and the unique climate conditions that shaped the 2001 harvest. Sommsation curated a delightful and memorable evening. Highly recommended for wine aficionados and anyone looking to indulge in a refined tasting experience.

I have participated in several Sommsation events. The sommeliers are extremely knowledgeable and, more importantly, know their audiences - they can offer everything from a basic overview to a deep dive into the wine selections. The events are enjoyable and the wine selections are impeccable. Highly recommended.

Had the privilege of attending the Sommsation Lounge at Sundance in Park City this year!! The venue (a winery just off Main Street) was perfect, felt very intimate and exclusive, and we got to taste some incredible wines while networking with members of the film industry. The Sommsation Team was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and the most gracious hosts. Will definitely be back next year!

As a Northern California native and very familiar with Napa Valley wines, I recently experienced something extraordinary. I was recommended a bottle of the 2016 Revana Cabernet from Rutherford by one of the Sommsation sommeliers. I was beyond blown away. I am a Cabernet enthusiast, so I brought the reccomendation to a group dinner. Needless to say, everyone now owns a bottle of this exquisite wine. Highly recommend this company and its staff. Can’t wait to join their Rebel Club to explore more of what this beautiful world has to offer.

I arranged for a virtual wine tasting among family and friends in fall of 2023. We ordered a Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio from a CA winery. Shipping the wine to each location was a seamless process. Everyone logged on for the wine tasting experience with a Sommsation sommelier. She was very knowledgeable and the wine was fantastic! This is a unique experience and everyone enjoyed it :)

I have done several events with Sommsation and ordered multiple bottles of wine from them. My events were well curated and had a great sommelier run them. Sommsation's wine recommendations have been dead on, and the wines have arrived incredibly fast.
