Purchased product from Solderstick, only to find same item listed on Amazon for an extremely lower cost. Returned item a few weeks ago and am still awaiting refund. Do not recommend this site.

I have always used non-insulated crimp connectors on all of my wiring. I was a heavy equipment mechanic for 45 years, and I started using non-insulated crimp fittings + solder + heat shrink about 25 years ago. I have had no failures in my soldered connections. I bought a box of Solder Stick connectors, and a box of eyelets. When I bought them, I was intrigued to say the least, but I had no need to use them right away. A few months down the road, I had to rewire one of my utility trailers, so I was excited to try the Solder Stick merchandise. I tried 3 different times to just join two 14 gauge wires together. I, at first, used the little heat gun that Solder Stick sold, and it would not get the solder hot enough to melt. Next I used my micro propane torch, and it would get hot enough to melt the solder, but the heat-shrink caught on fire. After the test wires cooled off, I pulled on them, and 2 out of the 3 came right apart. To say That I was unhappy was an understatement. I decided to return both assortments, BUT, when I E-Mailed Solder Stick, they told me that there was only a 30 day window for returns! Period! After several E Mails back and forth, they would not budge on the returns. I refuse to use this product, as I feel that I can't trust that the connections will hold. It is sad that this company will not stand behind their product. I will continue to use my bare crimp connectors + solder + heat shrink. I can trust the connection when I do it this way. Those Solder Stick assortments will go to the trash bin!!!

Sells your information to 3rd parties on the dark web. Beware. This is a foreign company. I ordered through PayPal. Thank God I did. Stay away unless you want you identity stolen.

very confusing when ordering. i ordered a kit and got a jar of very tiny connecters. misleading when ordering. now they pretty much say good luck. i cant even get what i ordered.

I ordered the box of 50 but only about 15 would be of use to anyone except those who are into some sort of micro wiring. Also you don't end up with hot solder joints nor is there sufficient solder for good connections. For my use I paid $25 bucks for a box of useless connectors and it takes 3 times as long as making solder joints with a solder gun. A waste of money in my opinion. I made one order. I will not make a second one

I placed an order with solderstick, un ticked the news and offers boxes, and the next thing is I’m receiving spam from them!! I told solderstick about the spam and they cancelled my order! Good riddance!

Useless, do not perform as advertised. Advertisement shows a nice size box of fasteners, but the actual box you receive is about the size of a deck of cards. Took too long to ship and only shipped after I sent an email asking to cancel my order because it was taking so long and absolutely no communication from the seller. It's amazing how the item shipped the very next day that I asked to cancel for a refund. I would love to send these things back but it would be a waste of time dealing with these people. $24.99 down the drain. Save yourself some grief and buy locally. I will from now on! I have to say, I returned the item and they did refund most of my money. Thanks !

These could be great if I was doing micro-surgery on a robot. Only usable sizes are 12-10 & 16-14. The rest are too small to be of use to a homeowner. Makes the cost of each wire connection around $2.00 per wire. NOT a good deal!!!! Make sure you check the wire sizes before you purchase. I did not. Beware. Most homeowners do not know wire sizes. Therefore, they are tricked into purchasing.
