I initially left a poor review due to lack of communication. Since then, I have spoken to several company representatives and they have identified some potential process or technical issues that have been addressed. While my case is still in progress, I’m willing to alter my review to reflect their good faith effort to address my concerns.

A company and team you can trust
Let me start by saying that I am a homeowner who decided to get a solar system like a lot of of us and within six months of installation had some serious problems with the system. My system was installed in October 2022 and once it was activated seemed to be working fine for about five months. In April 2023. I noticed that I had used 53 kW of energy during a month where I should be storing so I began looking into the System’s operation. After looking into what was going on with the system, I found out that one of my inverters was not working. I have two inverters with 31 panels hooked, 15 to one and 16 to the other. With one inverter not working half of my system was not working. Over the next couple of months, I began making phone calls, trying to have the system fixed, which was less than a year old and obviously still supposed to be covered by 100% Warranty. After looking further into my situation, I found out that the installation company that put my system in was out of business. Upon that I reached out to the bank, that was holding my loan and also to the companies, that manufactured the inverters. I was unable to have the system covered anywhere my warranty was gone, and if I wanted to have the system working at full capacity, I would have to go into my own pocket and have another company come and install new inverters and get the system up and running. At this point, what choice did I have, I had a system that was working at 50% capacity which left me with a pretty hefty electric bill on top of the Solar loan payments I was making. So I came out of my pocket for somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 miles to fix the system. By December 2023 the System was once again up and running at full capacity do only to the fact that I took out a $10,000 plus loan to repair it. Till this day I’m still left with 90% of the system, uncovered by Warranty. Only the work that the new company did is covered. I remained like this since December 2023. After recently, seeing all kinds of advertisements from companies online about canceling their Solar contracts due to Customer is being misled. systems not working properly, etc.. I started looking into it. I was very skeptical at first because I had reached out to a company and was told that it would cost me a few thousand dollars in Lawyer fees in order to get started. Anytime I hear that I have to pay upfront for something that is not a home run, in other words there are chances that they’ll be unsuccessful. I become very skeptical. I got all the way to the point of signing contracts and decided not to do it. A few months had passed and I continue to see advertisements for these companies that will get you out of your Solar contract. One of them being named Solar Equity Solutions. Against my bad judgment and with a lot of hope and trust I decided to go through with it. I signed my contracts and made my payment and got started. About six weeks later I fell on some financial hardship and the money that I have already paid out to Solar Equity Solutions became a necessity for me to have back. They said that it was a money back guarantee, and that if I decided to not go through with it that I would get a full refund, obviously in today’s world that doesn’t usually mean anything. What it usually means is you attempt to get your money back and attempt to get a refund and all you get is a runaround and you don’t get anything back. To this point all of the people at Solar Equity Solutions that I had dealt with were very nice and very informative and seemed to trustworthy. After calling them and requesting a refund, I was told that the company would reach out to me, I needed to speak to somebody in that department. Within a day time a gentleman named Dave Gardner reached out to me to discuss my reasons for wanting to cancel. I spent about an hour on the phone with Dave or I should say he spent an hour on the phone with me going over every last detail of my case what my chances are for being successful and why I did have a case. He did not talk me into not canceling and actually was willing to do everything he could to help me. He proceeded to help me get some of the documentation and information that I needed to send to the law firm in order to proceed with the case, was able to get me a full refund and assured me that when I was ready to move forward to give him a call personally and he would have my account reactivated. I know when today’s day and age it’s hard to trust people and rightfully so because there are so many people out there scamming, but if this can help only one or two people realize and understand that this company Solar Equity Solutions has employees like Dave working for them and understand that they are actually there to help in any way that they can. Many people are scammed by the solar companies and it’s time for some of us to seek the help that we need and the justice we deserve.

I'm a well trained consumer so I can't say no. And that's what happened when I was contacted by solar equity solutions. It's also what happened when I got contacted by my solar panel provider.

I'm very skeptical about companies that can promise you something and especially if it's legal services. My husband and I have a goodleap contract and we been stuck in a nightmare, we were originally told it'll be 120 month payment but it ended up being 400. We needed to get out of this mess and we talked to josie and she guided us on the process. It's been a good experience so far with the attorney but i'll keep this review updated
