Guarantee unmet - save your money
We hired SocialBloom as a B2B growth partner for lead generation and pipeline development. They sold us on results "from day one," a 90-day ROI target, and a 180-day guarantee. Our signed agreement stated they'd generate pipeline value. In over a year, SocialBloom delivered only 4 meetings total. Four meetings in over 12 months and none met our SQL criteria. In our assessment, and based on standard SQL criteria used in B2B sales, none of the meetings met any SQL criteria we'd repeatedly given them in writing or on calls. Several were with organizations we had explicitly told them not to target. No qualified pipeline value was generated. We have emails and call recordings documenting all of this. We asked only for a refund of what we'd already paid, nothing more. When we posted an honest review describing our experience, SocialBloom sent us a legal threat demanding it be removed, which we did in the hopes that professionalism would be reciprocated. We're posting this factual account now because other companies evaluating this vendor deserve to know what actually happened, not just what's promised in the sales pitch. My personal recommendation is to find another vendor with a better, and proven track record. And never pay for a service like this up front. Only ever pay for results.

The documented facts: - 5 out of 6 SQLs generated within 180 days. We offered the $1,500 prorated refund in accordance with our agreement. The client declined and demanded a full refund. - Received documented threats and demands for employees' personal information with an unknown goal around "If it isn't accepted, then this will escalate far beyond what you are clearly prepared for". Legal counsel certainly became involved. - Following further discussions, we generated 4 additional opportunities at no charge, bringing the total to 9 against the original guarantee target of 6. - Despite the additional work and opportunities, the reviewer continued demanding a full refund. This review falsely claims SocialBloom delivered only four meetings, even though the reviewer personally confirmed at least six completed conversations in writing and our records identify nine opportunities. 1. The guarantee was six SQLs within 180 days, not an unconditional refund. SightX engaged us for a highly targeted enterprise campaign with a total addressable market of only a few hundred companies. We repeatedly advised that this would limit results, especially when targeting Fortune 500 companies with software starting at just $135 per month. We generated five opportunities that we counted toward the original guarantee. Under our calculation of the agreed pipeline-value formula, we offered a $1,500 prorated refund. The client rejected the offer and demanded a full refund instead. 2. We generated four additional opportunities without charging the client. Rather than ending the engagement, we continued working in good faith and generated four more opportunities, bringing our documented total to 9 against the original target of 6. 3. Legal counsel became involved following explicit threats and attempts to obtain employee information. On August 18, 2025, while demanding a full refund, the reviewer explicitly warned: "If it isn't accepted, then this will escalate far beyond what you are clearly prepared for." More concerningly, he singled out an individual support employee, questioned his identity, and demanded his full name, phone number, LinkedIn profile, and direct contact information. These communications occurred alongside public allegations were materially false. We sought legal counsel to protect our employees and business, and our attorney subsequently challenged the disputed reviews and requested their removal which they did. 4. His claim that we delivered only four meetings is contradicted by his own emails. The reviewer personally confirmed the following completed prospect conversations or submitted written post-meeting summaries: April 10, 2025: Consumer health and fitness company, at least $371.1M annual revenue. July 23, 2025: Market research and analytics consultancy, at least $1M annual revenue. Reviewer's feedback: “Very experienced and knowledgable and understands our use cases and applications.” December 6, 2025: Consumer research and product development company, at least $23.6M annual revenue. December 23, 2025: Foodservice technology company, at least $14.2M annual revenue. January 16, 2026: Specialty retail company. February 9, 2026: Consumer beverage company, at least $7M annual revenue. Company names have been withheld for confidentiality. These are six separate conversations documented by the reviewer himself, not simply appointments reported by SocialBloom. Our records identify 9 opportunities in total. The facts are straightforward: We performed the contracted services, offered the prorated refund calculated under our agreement, delivered further opportunities at no charge, and received explicit threats while the client continued demanding a full refund. We stand behind our work and retain the signed agreement, campaign records, meeting confirmations, and the reviewer's own written correspondence.
