I have had previous experiences with another large company and it was not so great. My Smith Thompson has been dramatically different - in a GREAT way. The best part is they are very straight-forward with everything and have been honest from the get-go. The tech that came out to install was nice & great at his job! Best of all - no long term contract! I paid a year in advance and even doing that, I can give a 30 day cancel notice and get my money back.

I live in Dallas and heard about Smith Thompson on The Ticket. When I called to setup installation, a live human answered the phone. Cyrus gave me all the details I needed and was upfront, genuine, and friendly. Shaun showed up on time to install the system, and he was very friendly and worked fast. He easily and quickly modified our old security system. I got the UpLink system since I do not have a home phone. Shaun gave me the total price before starting the installation to be sure I was okay with it, which I appreciated. You can't beat $16.95 per month! I would recommend Smith Thompson to anybody who asked.

The rep was friendly, thorough and there were no surprises. I've tripped the alarm by accident and they were on my phone immediately. Great cost, no contract. Highly recommend!

I used Smith Thompson when I lived in Coppell, TX from 1994-2002 and was very pleased with their service. The price then was $18.95 per month, now it is even less 20 years later!. I moved to Dallas, and my house was already set up with ADT, so I left it like that. Over the years, the price ratcheted up to $43.94 per month. When my contract with ADT expired, I couldn't wait to sign up with Smith Thompson and save $26.99 a month for the exact same service.

After being with another alarm company for 14 years, we were initially drawn to Smith Thompson due to the lower alarm monitoring fee and wireless feature. After checking them out with the BBB, we called to get additional information and in a few brief minutes we had all the information we needed! Our technician Bruce called (as promised) to let us know when he was on as way. After a brief inspection of our current system to verify it was working properly, he converted our system over to wireless and installed a new keypad. He was courteous, professional and answered all our questions. We only regret we did not make the change much sooner!

I called SmithThompson after seeing their ad in a Money Mailer coupon book because they offered very reasonable service and had great reviews. They were helpful and friendly over the phone, and getting an installation appointment was very quick and easy. The technician showed up on time, was extremely respectful, patient with my questions, and did the job in a timely manner. Everything about them was wonderful!

From the initial phone call, to the entire installation process, my family is very pleased with Smith Thompson Security. The technician walked me through how to use the new system and tested it with me to make sure it worked and I knew how to use everything. I love the fact that it is a wireless system and does not need to connect to a land line. Great job Smith Thompson. I have already referred a few friends.

Office was very friendly and professional. Had been with ADT for years but wanted too much to switch to cell phone vs land line...until I told them we were switching companies....and we wanted to save money. Service rep was fantastic and walked us thru a demo. He was very courteous to answer all my teenager's questions and make her feel secure and was very respectful! Thank you Smith-Thompson!
