I called Smith-Thompson made the appointment, and they were here on time . He went through the various services they had to offer, checked the equipment in our house and made sure it was in working order by their specifications. They have several payment methods, in fact, I can't think of any they left out. He was very professional, answered every question we had and made sure we understood it. Smith-Thompsom is our third security system. The first one should have been discontinued 5-7 years ago. The second one we had for approximately 30 days, that alone should.tell you there was a real problem. They did exactly what I told them I would not allow, and yes I did take quick action to correct it. The cost of the second security system was 4 times more than Smith-Thompson for the same service. Smith-Thompson is a welcome relief and very reasonable with their prices. If you are considering a different or new security system, don't waste any more of your time. This is it.

Smith Thompson Security is a bargain. I have used them for over 16 years in 3 different homes. Even though you have to purchase your equipment at installation, their monthly rate is the best and there is no contract. I pay by the year and get one month free. Their rate has never gone up. If I accidently trigger my alarm they call before I can press my speed dial to call and cancel. They are always very patient with me when I do set it off. I have never had a true alarm, but I am confident the police would be here in a jiffy. When I thought my motion detector wasn't working, they were quick to come out. My painters had hung it upside down when they re-hung it! No problem, very nice tech guy just turned it over. I will always use Smith Thompson.

I had a previous alarm system that has not been used for a few years. I decided to go with Smith Thompson because of their reviews and attention to details. When the installer came out to switch my system over, he did it efficiently and very quickly. He tested the system thoroughly and even answered some of my questions about the different zones. I would suggest Smith Thompson to anyone who would like superior support and professional installers. And their monthly terms and costs could not be passed up. Excellent company.

The technician who set up my outdated system gave me honest recommendations on equipment to ensure my security concerns were addressed, but that my German Shepherd would not set it off. He got everything set up in one visit. Then when I called in to have the technician walk me through some minor reprogramming, he was able to do it in less than 5 minutes. Between the cost, the equipment, and experienced technicians who are available to help, they have been a great company to work with. I especially like how for something minor, I can call in and get help for no extra cost.

My brother has been with ST for years so he recommended them to me. They came right away after I called them to set everything up and it was super quick and very simple. I love that they offered a free month if you pay for the year in advance. They've called a couple times and reminded me that I need to get my permit for dispatch! Great company! <3 them!

The technician, Sean, arrived on time with full explanation of what he would need to accomplish to activate the monitoring. He had a great presentation and turned out to be a local young man with background in our city. We were impressed with this company associate. He quickly took care of business and gave a thorough explanation of what the charges would be. The paperwork was easy, and we already had a city permit, so we were ready to go in a very short time. It is also a very nice feature that we were not charged for the first month knowing that the other alarm company needed a 30 day notice. We paid the first quarter and for the uplink and the billing cycle won't start for a month. If the rates hold this has been a great experience.

Choosing Smith Thompson Home Security was a solid decision that we made recently. The technician was punctual, courteous and professional. He answered all of our questions. We especially liked the fact that he wore shoe covers when he was inside the house. We are thoroughly pleased with the service, so far. When our alarm had accidentally gone off, we promptly received the call from them. We highly recommend their services to anyone.
