We called Smith Thompson after being customers of ADT for years. They have a very competitive product and handled the change without any hassle.

It was a simple process to activate with Smith Thompson. Our home had an alarm system already installed and Smith Thompson verified over the phone that it would work with their monitoring service. We setup a time and they came and promptly set everything up. The prices were exactly what was quoted over the phone, no surprises. The gentlemen who setup the alarm was very helpful and made sure we understood everything before he left. At $16.95 per month for monitoring, I am very happy with this company.

I've used Smith Thompson for a number of years now. We've never had a problem. The rate is affordable and they've done an excellent job monitoring the alarm and addressing any issues.

I have been waiting for this moment for two years. The moment is dumping an excessive ADT $55/mth payment for service monitoring. This moment also is a dumping of another unnecessary monthly landline bill with ATT. One, mind you, was a phone never used for anything other than security monitorng. Sure I could have had ADT install wireless just as SmithThompson has, but that would have been a $199 wireless install and a $99/mth monitor. WHY!!! Thank you SmithThompson for the free install of a wireless monitoring device. Thank you SmithThompson for no contract(though you will have to do something terrible to get me to leave). Thank you SmithThompson for the low monthly fee paid quarterly. I have not had so much stress relieved before at once by any company. I look forward to a long pleased relationship. Hopefully I will not need your help, but am happy you are there for us.

I had Smith Thompson monitoring at my previous home for about 10 years. They were amazing - never missed an alarm and are priced light years ahead of the other companies. So when I moved into my new home, I called Smith Thompson. Their techs are so professional and they came and switched out the existing ADT equipment for theirs. I feel very safe and secure having them as my monitoring company.
