Just switched to Smith Thompson after 15 years with another company whose monthly price was going up yet again! The salesman at ST told us exactly what the upgrade and monthly cost would be. We set the install appointment and the installer was on-time, very courteous and very informative about the system and our training. We couldn't be happier. They even gave a free month of service to our niece who referred us.

I have only been with Smith Thompson for a few weeks, but I am very impressed with the level of customer service and the cost of monitoring. Our house was pre-wired in 1999 with a system that they were able to repair and reuse. They upgraded the key pads and the system itself for a very small fee compared to other companies and it only took about an hour to do everything. Also, the monthly fee is much less than any other companies I spoke to. I have not had the alarm tripped, so I can not comment on how responsive the team is, or how pleased I am with response times, but based on my experience so far, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an alarm monitoring company.

We are extremely pleased with our Smith Thompson security system. The tech called prior to arrival and arrived on time. He was very polite and professional and went thru our old wired system to make sure everything was still working. Once he completed one sensor on the back door that was not working he showed me how to work everything on the new system. The monitoring price is a third of what the other security companies quoted to us!!!! We highly recommend Smith Thompson Home Security Systems.

I switched from a much larger security company. The switch-over went very easy and getting to a real person for an appointment was super easy. So far everything is going great with service and it is definitely as good as what I was paying $60.00 a month for..Smith Thompson is definitely worth the price and a great option for your security system.

We have been with ADT for 15 year and it had just become too expensive. I called Smith-Thompson and they went through their plan with me we decided on wireless monitoring with the iPhone app that has been simple to use. Would highly recommend them. Will save us approximately $28 per month.

For starters, I switched to this company for cost. They are much cheaper than ADT, which I had for 4 years stuck under contract and they raised my rate three times in that period.Easy to setup although I had a problem with the first installation tech. When he came to my house he apparently knocked on the door and I was in the backyard and didn't have my phone on me either, so he left. Within 5 minutes i checked my phone because i knew he as coming. I saw his missed call. I immediately called him back and he LIED to me and said he was already downtown and would not come back. This is false, because I live 45 minutes away from downtown. He just didn't want to install that day and used this as an easy way out. I had to call and reschedule again. I know this isnt really the company's fault, so I wont hold that gainst them. This is just a poor technician. Aside form that, the next guy that came was good. professional and installed the system quickly. Can't really say much about their service as I haven't had to use it. They did offer one month free if the year is paid in full, so I like that and will take advantage of that. I am really enjoying the significant cost savings over ADT.
