I have had numerous security companies over the last 25 years, some good some not so much. Smith Thompson was the first to not try and push a bunch of equipment and services I did not want or need. The technician was amazingly on time, knowledgeable and courteous. The company is now saving me $500/yr over brand V for the same service. They responded to my first alarm (my fault) in less than a minute. Excellent!

I was previously with another company. I was just another name and number in their system. I was ready for more personalized service and Smith Thompson delivered! Technician arrived on time and friendly and courteous. He took time to explain how to completely operate my system. It is so nice to have a local company that still knows how to do customer service right!

Loved the fast install and detailed explanation of the equipment from the installer, love the price and love the customer service when our alarm has been triggered - they are fast, courteous and committed to keeping my family safe. We've also had great success with the app to arm and disarm our system. I won't look anywhere else for my home security needs in the future!

I have used Smith Thompson for years now. Shoot, I used them, moved overseas, came back, and returned to Smith Thompson for their service. Actually, you would think I was working on commission for them, since I have introduced quite a few family members to use Smith Thompson as well for their home security.

I had previously been with another home security company (I'll keep it classy & won't mention names haha), but I'm so glad I made the switch to Smith Thompson. Smith Thompson made it easy for me to switch over with my existing alarm system. I saved a lot more with Smith Thompson but didn't give up any quality of service.

I highly recommend Smith Thompson! Shoot, my mother uses them, too! My aunt was the one who researched them & recommended their service to my mom. Note that my aunt doesn't mess around with nonsense; she wants good service at a good price! As a result, I didn't hesitate to use Smith Thompson when it was my turn to start "adult-ing" and hire a home security company. Besides them being the official home security for Dallas Mavericks (GO ROCKETS), you can't beat them; they have great ratings, great service (I'm sorry my boyfriend keeps opening the door once we set the alarm; I'm also annoyed), great price, and a great option to use the previous alarm equipment if compatible (no wasting which I love).

Making an appointment was simple and easy, even when I had to change the first appointment date. The CSR was very accommodating with my changes. They informed me the technician will call me 30 minutes prior to arriving. The technician was great in communicating with me. His prior job kept him a little later than expected but he kept me informed through the entire process. I really appreciated that considering I had a birthday party to attend. The technician worked quickly and efficiently. He was in and out. Because of the delay, I was not charged for the additional pad. I have been happy with the company so far. I even have a technician coming out again next week for an upgrade.
