We have been very happy with Smith Thompson home security. Installation was easy, customer service is great and the cost can't be beat!

I have had an alarm system since 1989 and recently my wife and I moved into a new home. The home was pre-wired and they recommended another alarm company to monitor it, but since I had service with another company for 35 years or so, I opted to use my alarm company to monitor the alarm in our new home. I contacted that alarm company to get things rolling and they informed me that since I had discontinued the monitoring for the 5 months that we were living in an apartment during the months that our home had been sold and the time when our new home was ready to be moved in to that the rate that I had had for the 30 plus years was no longer going to be honored and that the new rate was almost DOUBLE the price that I had been paying. I decided to do some rate checking on my on and I contacted a friend of mine to see who they were using and they said that they had been in the same boat and that now they were using Smith Thompson. I decided that I would contact Smith Thompson and see what they included and the price of such. I was certainly glad I did. From the telephone Customer Service representative to the installation person (Gary Lanting) I couldn't be happier. They were very timely and met the appointment times perfectly. From all the paperwork to the final install, EVERYTHING went smoothly and I am so happy with the ENTIRE Smith Thompson experience. They have a tremendous organization, great rates and really RAPID response. I accidently set the alarm off and Smith Thompson was calling my cell phone within 15 seconds from the time the alarm was tripped. Smith Thompson is a FANTASTIC company and I would recommend them to anybody. Check them out, you won't be sorry. No, I don't own any of their stock, nor do I know anybody who is associated with them. I'm giving this review just to spread the word about a great local company that I'm proud to say that I'm enjoying doing business with.

Where to start. First off, the monthly monitoring price is the best in the industry. From the first time I made contact with Smith Thompson to the time the technician left my home following install, my experience was stellar. The salespeople are super friendly, the tech was great and very detailed when showing me how the entire system worked. And the few times I have inadvertently set the alarm off, the call center contacts me immediately with genuine concern. I can't say enough good things about this company and will be a customer for life!

Smith Thompson was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad. What first interested me was the excellent monitoring rate but everyone I've come in contact with has been professional and courteous. I switched from another company and it couldn't have been easier. The technician installed the new wireless dialer in about 10 minutes, tested the system, explained who to call to set up passwords and provide the permit number, etc. The whole process took about 20 minutes. Follow up from the home office has been great. If you are looking for a new home security system or looking to change companies I highly recommend Smith Thompson

We just bought our first home and switched to Smith Thompson. The install was seamless, the price can't be beat and when we accidentally set the alarm off the first week, a sales rep called in seconds to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend them.
