terrible post sale customer service
SE is very knowledgeable about skis...and great at sales. But not at all supportive if and when those skis you purchased from them have issues...well to be fair they were great a trying to sell me another pair but terrible at dealing with the original ski issue. I bought 2 pairs of skis along with over $2k of total gear from SE autumn 2020. One of skis delaminated after less than a month of use in what multiple ski shops informed me was a "known issue" and one that they said "is 100% covered by the manufacture". I contacted SE who denied that there was a "known issue" and claimed to have spoken to the dealer to confirm that. Thankfully a more customer friendly ski shop was willing to handle the issue and return my skis to the manufacturer to get me a full refund. I'd never purchase anything from SE again and I'd recommend that if you have issues with skis you purchase from them that you don't seek help from them as you'll only waste your time. PS - My experience sounds very similar to the one I see below written by Josh for his Elan 106 Ripsticks. SE seems to make any and every excuse to not help their clients. Clearly a trend. Thanks for your lack of support SkiEssentials.
