For me, that is what made the experience so valuable. It wasn’t really just about money. It was about understanding how my experiances and nervous system are part of this
What made this experience eye opening and special for me, was how deeply it connected the practical side of money with what was actually happening inside me. I came into the work thinking I was going to work on my relationship with money, but I ended up understanding myself and my view of money in a much deeper way. I started noticing how much my relationship with money was connected to safety, fear, control, and my nervous system. Things that I had understood intellectually before suddenly started making sense on a much deeper level. What I really loved was that it never felt like someone was telling me what I “should” think or do. I was given the space to explore, feel, notice and understand my own patterns. There were moments where I could actually feel something shift in my body, and that was very different from just talking about "money issues" the correlation to the nervous system and safety in my body was new to me but made total sense. I also really appreciated how safe and non-judgmental the whole experience felt. I could be completely honest, including about the parts of my relationship with money that I wasn’t particularly open to share, and I always felt met with openness and understanding. I walked away not just with a different perspective on money, but with a better understanding of myself and how my nervous system responds to uncertainty, receiving, abundance and safety.
