Harassment is the name of the game
In the past month, since Oct 1, Signify Health has called me every single day, sometimes multiple times, attempting to force me to submit to some very invasive in-home tests including one that would leave me blind and in serious pain and all of which I have seen employed by detention and/or probation officers to check drug use for criminals on probation on many, many occasions (I used to be a reporter and covered the local Drug Court). Health care clients should never be treated like criminals on probation, but that is exactly what I am enduring Every Single Day. Each time I have said no, and not to call me again - to no avail! I had completed my Signify overall health visit in January (there will not be one next year) which was basically an erasure of all truth and the addition of straight-up lies. I had two of the tests done by my real doctor, also in January, so these multiple calls a day for a month does indeed constitute harassment. NO means NO! Like rapists, Signify does not understand this word. What it understands is if it can force its way into my home to repeat tests already done by my actual health care providers that show that I DO NOT HAVE the disease they are seeking to "treat" they can charge Medicare an outrageous amount of money for it, then sell your data to someone else (there's a lawsuit going on for that!) I even explained why I did not want the tests, but they still keep calling. I have filed two formal complaints with them to my real insurance provider and do not intend to ever let them in my house again. The information I have given them in the past keeps getting erased - including my anaphylactic shock reactions to two medications and the utter uselessness of 2 more. It would be a life-endangering event should I be given these medications but Signify has decided that these medicines I am allergic to are "medically necessary" when I consider giving them to me attempted murder. This company's greed and negligence is going to kill someone. I suggest you report them as spam, block their numbers (it is a different one each time they call) and then report their abusive behavior to your actual health insurer and your health care providers, like I did. This company cannot be trusted with your health care or other personal data! That lawsuit? When I Googled them, they are facing a court case regarding misuse of people's data coughcoughtheysellitcoughcough. Avoid at all costs and do not fall for the expiring gift card trick. There is no free money.
