Won't refund
I bought a set of top and pants from their website. Which came out to be smaller. So I reached out to them asking for an exchange/return. Mostly exchange as I did liked to clothing. However, their support came back saying it was part of clearance sale. Hence, they wouldn't refund or exchange. When nowhere on their page it said it's on sale. Nowhere.. This is borderline scam. Please refrain from buying anything from this website.

Hi Debpriya, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear the sizing did not work out for you — we understand how disappointing that can be, especially when you truly like a piece. To clarify, the set purchased was listed as a Clearance / Final Sale item at the time of purchase, and our final sale policy is clearly stated within the product description and checkout terms. Final sale items are discounted accordingly and are not eligible for return or exchange. We always encourage customers to review sizing details and policies prior to checkout, and our support team is available for fit guidance before purchase as well. We take transparency very seriously and would never misrepresent a product or policy. We’re a small business committed to honest practices and clear communication. If you would like sizing assistance for a future purchase, we’re always happy to help. — The Style Shark Team

Company had a sale and I emailed before…
Company had a sale right after i purchased an item and I emailed them before the sale was over. Because they didn't read it they refused to apply the discount so I ended up paying full price. I feel like if it was emailed during the sale it should be honored. This company has bad service and I wouldn't purchase from them.
Response from ShopstylesharkFeb 20, 2026
Hi Liz, Thank you for sharing your feedback. To clarify, promotional pricing applies to orders placed during the active sale window. While we completely understand wanting to take advantage of a discount announced shortly after a purchase, we are unable to retroactively adjust pricing once an order has been processed. That said, we did honor your return request and issued a full refund to ensure you were taken care of. We strive to respond to all emails as quickly as possible and are always happy to assist within the terms of our policies. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify and wish you the best. — The Style Shark Team

You get what you pay for (this is alibaba.com)
We were pleasantly surprised that the dress arrived in 19 days rather than the 'up to 40 days' that were advertised. The material looked like velvet in the picture, but is made of 'bike short spandex'. There is no boning in the bodice, but rather, gathered material that looks like boning. The gloves that came with the dress have squared-off fingers that make the gloves look very odd when put on. I suppose you get what you pay for and it was only $99. Also, this company is actually alibaba.com, so you can probably find it cheaper on there, and knowing that now, it makes sense why the dress and gloves look the way they do.

Hi Sami, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear your order arrived sooner than the estimated delivery window at the time. Regarding the fabric and construction — product materials are listed in each item description, and that particular style was designed with a stretch fabrication rather than structured boning. We understand that texture and structure can sometimes feel different in person compared to photos, and we appreciate you noting your experience. We would also like to clarify that Shop Style Shark is an independent boutique and not affiliated with Alibaba. We work with a range of suppliers and manufacturers, and since 2022 we have made several updates to our sourcing standards to further elevate quality and construction across our collections. We value feedback and continuously refine our product selection to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. — The Style Shark Team
