I always recommend Sherpa to my friends and colleagues who need a prep course for GRE/GMAT exams. Nafeez gave me the confidence and assistance I needed to conquer the GRE. I'm now pursuing my MBA part-time and I don't think I would have made it this far without Sherpa Prep.

Are you ready to tackle the monster that is GMAT? Do you need a coach to prepare you? Somebody who will be in your corner helping you deconstruct the test? Someone who will encourage you to work not only hard but also smart? Nafeez from Sherpa gives you the toolkit and teaches you the skills to think strategically about and comfortably approach any question. I sat in on a class to check them out and learned at least two things on which I was tested on the final exam. After I signed up, I continued to learn several new skills in each class. He combines teaching with answering real, official GMAT questions. I believe that this approach helped me build and test my knowledge at the same time. He encourages keeping an error log to zero in your weaknesses and taking practice GMAT tests often. This helped me easily pace myself through the final test without getting tired. It's an extremely fast-paced and intense course, but it’s also fun. Nafeez keeps the atmosphere light and enjoyable. In addition to the class, I had to study several hours per week to get ready for a test one month after the course ended. Nafeez recommends taking the GMAT two to three months after the course ends, but I felt confident. It's a small class size roughly between 10 and 14 students so we all got plenty of time to ask questions. Nafeez also offers private tutoring for a discount to his current and former students. I took advantage of it several times and continued to do so later to get his advice on school admissions. Oh yeah, he's a great advisor as well. Sherpa is competitively priced, has excellent content, and questions via e-mail are answered promptly. These are just some examples of what makes Sherpa great. I scored 30 points above my target score, and it’s all thanks to them. Sherpa more than deserves its excellent rating. If you’re considering Sherpa to help with your GMAT preparation, I recommend that you e-mail them and ask to sit in on a class. You won’t regret it.

My experience with Sherpa Prep was incredibly valuable. I did not know what to expect going in, but a close friend recommended the program for its straightforward and unique approach to the test. My coach, Nafeez, is an incredibly hardworking individual whose conviction for Sherpa Prep's method is compelling. As one works through the program, they begin to see why. Nafeez and his team understand the GMAT down to its core and cut through the fog surrounding the exam. They are direct, competent, and easy to work with. Given their relatively high cost, one would expect results. They deliver the tools to success if you're willing to learn how to use them.

Have you ever said to yourself "I'll just study from the book" and then not gotten the score you wanted? Sherpa Prep has great teachers that push you and support you to improve your score.

Let me start off by saying that choosing Sherpa Prep was one of the best investments I have ever made. Nafeez, Jay, Nasheed, and the rest of the team are incredible. It is without reservation that I can say that Sherpa Prep is the reason why I was able to find the right top 20 MBA program for me. I was recommended to Sherpa Prep by a friend who, much like me, knew that getting through the GMAT or the GRE was going to be the biggest hurdle in the application process. For me, I was facing math I hadn't seen in at least 10 years and test anxiety. I had nine years of work experience in political fundraising and nonprofits, but no traditional business background. I worked with Nafeez for over a year (I took the course twice and breaks in between) to get my scores to the range I needed. In the end, I made an over 140 point jump between my first GMAT score and my final GRE score (based on GMAT/GRE conversion). Nafeez helped me see the light that my application was stronger by submitting the GRE. Sherpa Prep is a one stop shop and truly cares about their students. They're invested in seeing students succeed. Nafeez was with me every step of the way, including cultivating my list of schools, reading essays, reducing test anxiety and providing strategic advice along the application journey. He always made himself accessible via email or tutoring sessions to help me sort through problem sets or strategy. If you put in the work, then Sherpa Prep will help you get the results you want and you'll even have some fun in the process!

Without the help of Sherpa Prep, I 100% would not be in a doctorate program! I really struggle with math and had taken the GRE several time, both studying on my own and with other prep companies, all times unable to bring my scores up. I had also previously applied to doctorate programs only to be told I was a great candidate, but my scores needed to come up. It was both disheartening and frustrating to know I was great candidate but this test was standing in my way. Sherpa’s program and instructors are hands down the best in the business. The program is structured to build from basic fundamentals, so great for any kind of student. The instructors are all VERY smart, committed to their students success and great at breaking concepts down for easier explanations. The clases are small enough, making it easy for students to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I took advantage of the class repeat option and the private tutoring, which helped IMMENSELY! I honestly would only recommend Sherpa Prep to anyone trying to studying for and wanting to raise scores for the GRE. There is a lot of material to learn and any student should enter into the prep classes committed to putting in the time and work. Preparing for the GRE is definitely a process, but with the support of Sherpa’s instructors, it will be worth it! I cannot thank my instructors and tutors enough for their help! I could not have achieved my goals of getting into a doctorate program without them.

Sherpa is the clear front runner in GMAT/GRE prep. I began my GMAT journey roughly three years ago. I initially tried to study on my own with self paced material, but I didn’t get past the first week of studying. Frankly I needed something with structure and accountability. Nafeez and Co. have created a building block approach that sets you up with the fundamentals to beat every type of problem the GMAT has to offer. More than just tutors, Sherpa helps with admissions prep, GMAT stress and your future career goals. Sherpa cares more than churning students through a program, they actually want you to succeed. Simply put, I could not have achieved any of where I am without Sherpa. With out a doubt, I recommend Sherpa to anyone needing to beat the GMAT and begin life . One quick note. Just like the old idiom: You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink. Sherpa provides you with the tools to succeed and crush the GMAT or GRE, but YOU have to be the one willing to put in the work. You have to put in the long hours of studying, saying no to the occasional social engagements, and just grind it out.
