Shemmassian Academic ConsultingReviews of shemmassianconsulting.com

The service from Shemmassian Academic Consulting is always excellent. Despite being in the earlier stages of the process, I have already gained so much insight on how to go about the application process for graduate school. My questions are always answered in such a helpful manner, and the environment is incredibly supportive. Overall, Shemmassian Academic Consulting is 100% a valuable investment and wonderful experience.

For parents... Like many others, we were first time parents for a child going through the college application process. With a solid foundation of scores and grades, we were hopeful our daughter would have the chance to be considered for some of her "reach" schools. When she brought up the idea of throwing her name in the hat for combined BS/MD or BA/MD programs, we knew that the level of competition was at an elite level. The interview appeared to be a major threshold in the process, and this is where Shemmassian Academic Consulting did an amazing job. We utilized their services to help with our 17 year-old daughter (16 yo at the time when services were used) essentially prepare for a medical school interview. That is a task that really only a special group of academic advisors would be able to undertake...and that is exactly the light in which we see the Shemmassian group. Students aren't spoon fed "right" answers, but challenged to develop ways to show their unique selves for truly a high stress interview. We are very thankful for their patience, scheduling flexibility and detailed attentiveness to help our daughter prepare for the big stage. 5***** work guys!! (and yes, our daughter was blessed to be starting her top choice BA/MD program this fall).

My tutor, Shawnt, did a fantastic job explaining concepts. In a short condensed timeline, I was able to jump 4-5 points from my full lengths. Thanks again

After completing guidance with Dr. Shemmassian & team I can confidently say they are incredible! Dr. S exemplifies care and dedication to his students. There is no question that his services are sincere and he really wants to see you succeed. I could not recommend a service more highly. He’s given me peace of mind I could not find elsewhere. Thanks Doc!

Dr. Shemmassian and his team helped me get into medical school as a re-applicant! My consultant was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I’d recommend this service for anyone who needs help with their med school application. I plan to come back for my future residency apps as well. Thank you!!

This is an amazing company! Dr. Shemmassian is incredibly kind. In addition to him, you will work with a consultant who will have recently completed the admissions process. My consultant (I can only speak for mine) was responsive and brought out my best in my essays. He knew which qualities to emphasize. He also did a great job in preparing me for the interview. I worked with this company to apply to medical school, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is also applying.

Dr. Shemmassian and my reviewer Dr. Sutton were so helpful and supportive during my application process. Dr. Sutton revised my essay in less than a day and gave both overall feedback about the structure and story of my essay as well as detailed line and word edits which stayed true to my voice and narrative but elevated my writing and helped me develop a more compelling story. I am sure that both Dr. Sutton and Dr. Shemmassian played a role in my acceptance at WashU with a scholarship and I could not be more grateful. I highly recommend Shemmassian Academic Consulting for students who aspire to be doctors and are undergoing the medical school application process.
