I worked with Shemmassian applying to medical school as a non-traditional applicant. The people that Dr. Shemmassian connected me with were very involved in the medical school admissions system (all having served on adcoms) and knew the process well. They were really qualified and honest. My interview prep session with Dr. R was excellent. It prepared me well for my MMI interview and running through it with her I had a clearer idea of what I was going into before the actual interview, which was great. I also did a general application review with Tony at the beginning of my cycle. He was also extremely qualified and offered detailed advice on my application - it's competitiveness, how it would look to admissions officers, my strengths and weaknesses on paper, what schools I should consider applying to, etc. etc. He was great to talk to. Overall, I would say top notch, really qualified advisors, that looked through my application thoroughly.

Shawnt is possibly the best MCAT tutor out there! He is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He turned the process from something terrifying into something enjoyable. Not many teachers can do that. He was so organized which helped immensely. You can expect a 3-4 paragraph summary and action items after each session. He is also really great at keeping you on pace without making you feel bad at all. In fact, you'll probably feel inspired and excited after meeting with him. This is so important for a test like the MCAT whose preparation is more like a marathon than a sprint. All in all, I am very happy to have prepared with Shawnt and achieved a score in my goal range!
