As a non-traditional student, I knew I needed some guidance with my medical school application. I was very satisfied with the service they provided me with MCAT prep that I felt comfortable signing up for their medical school admissions consulting services. The quality of the advice I was given throughout the whole application process was incredible and I was able to craft an application that I was proud to submit. Shivani was my consultant and with her help and support, I am excited to say that I will be entering medical school this summer! Thank you SAC for helping me make my dream of becoming a doctor come true

Shemmassian helped me do super well on Casper, helped me navigate my secondaries for medical school, and was a super strong company for medical school interview preparation. The feedback I received was incredibly constructive and I felt comfortable reaching out to my coach for help even after the interview was over.

Shemmassian Academic Consulting was an amazing resource. I received advice on the admission process from my initial call and learned how their services could improve my application. Once I was assigned to an advisor, Dr. Anders was always available to help. Dr. Anders reviewed every part of my application, from the work and activities section to the 144 secondary essays I completed. I was impressed with his feedback and attention to detail each step of the way. Overall, I would recommend this service to anyone who can afford it. The knowledge and expertise that Shemmassian’s team offers will improve your application and chances of gaining an acceptance. With the support from Dr. Anders and the Shemmassian team, I gained acceptance into one of my top medical schools!!

Shemmassian Academic Consulting was an excellent resource that surpassed my expectations. I used it for applying for residency and was glad I did. The first resource was editing of my personal statement. I consider myself a good writer but the editor was able to make my paper even better than I thought possible. The second resource was for interview coaching. The interviewer gave me sound and intelligent advice. After the session, I had a much greater understanding of the interview process and was confident and well-prepared for the upcoming interview. I give this service my highest recommendation. It will be the best decision you will make.

As a nontrad premed hopeful starting the path to medical school at 25, I felt I had a lot of things to balance - MCAT timeline, application materials, telling my story in a way highlighted why I wanted to pursue medicine. I had the chance to speak with Dr. Shemmassian at a few points in the process, and found him to be so encouraging and supportive on my path. It was a wonderful day when I got to report to him that I had been offered a seat at my top choice school!

Everyone I worked with at Shemmassian was so kind and helpful! My mentors provided me with so much feedback as well as help in making very tough decisions, like the selection of my list of schools to apply to. Services like the mock interview were extremely useful both in practice and in helping me feel more confident going into the real thing. I highly recommend any of their services for whichever part of your application you need help with. They will not disappoint!

I had an excellent experience with SAC. Prior to choosing SAC, I contacted a number of different consulting companies and I found that none of the others were as genuine and responsive as SAC. Their consulting packages were the most competitive in terms of services and price. As soon as I started, Dr. Shemmassian and the entire team were transparent, professional, and supportive. The experience they have in medical school admission advising was both unique and highly valuable. I appreciated that I was able to give input on what areas I needed the most help and those needs were taken into consideration. I worked with Dr. Allan as my direct advisor and she was a perfect match for my stated support wants. Dr. Allan was consistently available for meetings or questions and her creativity and perspective throughout the application process was extremely valuable. Overall, I had an outstanding experience working with the SAC team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for admissions support.

The Shemmassian MCAT advising was extremely helpful! I started off not scoring as well as I would have liked on practice exams. My tutor helped me realize that the strategies I was employing were less than optimal, and he offered me different strategies that really helped me improve my score. Furthermore, he worked with me to develop a schedule and offered me resources I otherwise would not have known about. I ended up getting a 526, and I definitely could not have done it without the help of the Shemmassian team!
