Shemmassian Academic ConsultingReviews of shemmassianconsulting.com

This is an extremely well run company that provided me with exactly what I needed to get into my top school (Yale). I was paired with a person who was very accomplished himself who had graduated from multiple Ivy League Universities. Dr. Shemmassian’s Phd in psychology also comes in handy as he is very well equipped to support people through the stressful process of applying. Highly recommend!

As I was applying to medical school, I was hoping for an advisor that would help me craft my story and avoid major pitfalls in the application process. My advisor and the rest of the team at Shemmassian Academic Consulting were extremely supportive and insightful. I received tremendous support from the primary application all the way through to sending letter of intent/interest post-interview. My advisor was always available and would continue to check in with me even if I never had anything to ask. I would definitely recommend their support especially to give yourself the best chance at getting accepted the first time around.

Everyone I worked with at Shemmassian Consulting was terrific. I was well supported throughout the entire medical school application experience.

As a reapplicant, I was really nervous about whether or not I would get accepted to medical school. When looking for an advising company, Dr. Shemmassian was so quick to respond and answer any questions I had, working with me to find a program best fit for my goals. I was paired with Katie, and throughout the cycle she offered endless support and advice on my personal statement, essays, application as a whole, and interviews. I highly reccomend working with the Shemmassian group, as they provide valuable insight into how best to approach the Medical School application process and adapt your application to best reflect your experiences and ambitions.

Shemmassian Academic counseling was a great investment. The counselors were very helpful in providing advice and critiques for my application. The essay critiques were particularly helpful. I definitely recommend them if application advice and essay help is something you are looking for!

Very knowledgeable, very quick turn around on drafts, and were extremely helpful with interview preparation. I only had a rough draft of my personal statement and they really helped me focus it down. It made any questions coming from the content easy to answer.

My experience with SAC was truly phenomenal. From day one, it was clear to me that I would have varying levels of support throughout my medical school application process, evidenced by the fact that every email is sent to both SAC support as well as your individual consultant to ensure optimal communication and assistance. My consultant had amazing response/review times, and he never left me feeling alone or without support on this journey that was honestly one of the most challenging I have faced thus far. His edits to my secondaries and personal statement were flawless and always helped me better get my point across, thus enhancing my writing. I had not received any interviews last cycle but this cycle, I received 5 interviews and 1 acceptance (and waiting on the four other decisions). I credit this cycle's success to SAC and my consultant's ability to strategize. I will forever be grateful to SAC for helping me start the journey of achieving my professional goals and strongly recommend their services to anyone looking for steadfast support throughout his or her application process.

Thank you for your constant support throughout the application process. I had doubts about my application in the beginning, but you guys provided the guidance and support for me to go through the process with more ease and clarity. I've been accepted to one medical school and am waiting to hear back from more schools! Thank you truly for all your help!
