SAC helped me get into my dream school! Throughout the application cycle, I was met with an incredible amount of support and encouragement. I received insightful feedback on how to make my essays detailed while still remaining concise. They were very prompt with answering my emails to address my questions, and were always available to meet with me via phone. The interview prep increased my confidence in answering questions with sufficient detail and conciseness as well. I highly recommend SAC for the best support throughout the cycle!

I used Shemmassian Academic Consulting for both medical school and residency preparation. Both experiences have been very structured with clear timelines and supportive with constant feedback and encouragement from all team members. I would highly recommend their services to anyone considering extra help in navigating medical school or residency applications! I could not have done it without them!

The Shemmassian team’s ability to guide me to position myself well from the primary to the secondary application, and on to the interviews was phenomenal! I felt supported throughout as they never let me lose sight of the big picture. Ms. Katie Pope’s guidance to fine tuning my essays and activities and kind demeanor throughout was off the charts! Dr. Nick Andrade is a true gem! He checked every bit of my essays and activities and caught even the most minor of mistakes. He also prepped me for the interviews thoroughly. His keen ability to catch the nuances, pinpoint my strengths and provide constructive feedback was invaluable. It helped me be thoroughly prepared and put forth my strengths confidently to the interviewers. I am grateful for Dr. Prabu’s coaching for the interview as well. He too was thorough, thoughtful, and the questions he and Dr. Andrade prepped me for showed up in the interviews. Getting two interview invites in August was a result of their dedicated nurturing for my success. I was thrilled to get an acceptance on October 15th to my first choice school! Thanks to the best team ever!!

My experience was great!! My consulting session was with Dr. Nowicki, and he did an amazing job at easing my worries and preparing me for medical school interviews. We chatted for a bit before we did a 45-minute mock interview session. Then, he walked me through every question and answer, telling me what I answered well and what I could tweak to make my answers stronger. The questions he asked were so accurate to what my real interview experiences were like!

I have had an overall great experience using many of Shemmassian's services. There were many parts of the medical school application process that I did not know about beforehand, so it was a lifesaver to have someone guiding me along the way. Additionally, it was such a stress reliever to have someone reassure me during the process as it can get overwhelming at times and you can feel like you don't know what you are doing. From MCAT tutoring to interview sessions, I felt confident in my preparation before the actual events. The Shemmassian mock interview sessions were even harder than some of my actual interviews, which made me feel even more ready to take on future ones. I could not be more thankful for the team I have had throughout this process.

The Shemmassian interview consulting lessons completely revamped my interview skills and there is a lot to learn that cannot be done by reading articles. Both of the consultants I worked with were absolutely fantastic and really helped prepare me for my interview. I felt like I had a really strong interview and the interviewer said I gave one of the best MD interviews out of the 20+ people he met in the past 5 days. I recommend this service to anyone who has an MD interview coming up. The professionalism, mock interviews, and solid advice given to me were all beneficial for the interview.

I felt that all members of my consulting team truly cared about my success and always responded in a timely manner. They exceeded my expectations and helped me become more confident in my ability to craft an effective secondary essay and interview with a self-assuredness necessary to convey my points.

As the first person in my family to apply to medical school, the guidance I received from my Shemmassian Academic Consulting team was truly invaluable. They made what felt like an incredibly overwhelming process so much more manageable and offered personalized support every step of the way. From refining my essays to preparing for interviews, their detailed feedback and tailored advice helped me put forth my best self. Their responsiveness and structured approach kept me on track with relevant deadlines, and their interview prep was especially helpful in building my confidence. I’m incredibly grateful for their help and support throughout this journey <3
