Once I had a credit card the system would take, my transaction was completed. To process my request, the company required my name, address, phone number, email address, and the credit card information. After clicking on submit it took less than 10 seconds to receive a pop-up asking for a code that was sent to my cell phone. I entered the code as requested. A second pop-up appeared asking for the authorization number attached to the transaction itself. This second number is a pre-authorization number found in your credit card account. I accessed my credit card account online and saw the pending transaction number attached to the merchant’s name. There was also a $0.10 transaction charge in the account. I submitted the authorization number and my transaction was rejected. I contacted the credit card company to release any holds on the merchant (I knew the hold was for my own protection). The credit card representative released the hold. I attempted the transaction again and it took less than 10 seconds to receive the funds. I verified the funds were in my MM account and they were there – success! Here's what I learned: (1) not all credit cards accept this type of transaction. My Bank of Am***ca card was not accepted; my Barc**y card wouldn’t even generate the blue submit button; and my bank debit card was also denied. (2) if you do have a credit card that accepts the transaction your bank may not approve the transaction for your own security. You will have to call your credit card provider to have the merchant hold removed. (3) if you're attempting to use a credit card that is issued outside the United States, you may receive the failed transaction pop-up on your device. I used a credit card issued in the United States. The card is issued by a well known large banking system in the USA. (4) it may take 24-48 hours for the tiny pre-authorization fee to drop off your account. If you have any issues with fees you have not approved you can contact the merchant during business hours for help as well as your credit card provider. Lastly, I advise using a widely accepted credit card. Also, have your credit account information already opened on your device so you can quickly toggle between that page and the merchant page requesting the pre-authorization number. If you use a bank debit card, you may need to contact your bank before you make the transaction in order for them to approve it. I hope this helps?
