Hi Brent, Thank you for taking your time in leaving a review for Sendwyre.com We're sorry to hear about the recent negative experience with fees associated with your recent transaction. During times of high network activities, there could be unusually large network fees associated with cryptocurrency transfers. These mining fees are not set by or paid to Wyre or our wallet partners though we do apologize for any confusion in the messaging before initiating your buy. We would love to hear more context about the situation so we can have a better understanding. We’re happy to check into this with you and clear up any miscommunication. If you don’t mind, could you please reach out to us at [email protected], so we can ensure you’re taken care of? We look forward to hearing from you Brent so we could further check on it. Kind Regards, Wyre Support Team.

Hi Neil, Thank you so much for taking a moment to leave Sendwyre.com a review. We're sorry to hear about the confusion about your recent transaction attempt. We are happy to try to go over the information that we have here for this concern. When you’re purchasing cryptocurrency from a service like Wyre this isn’t a transaction with a buy/sell order book. The exchange rate you’ll receive is calculated using a mid-market rate from a conglomerate of exchanges. This exchange rate may not always be equal to the exchange rate that is showing within your wallet or on a service like Etherscan. You can see the exact exchange rate for your transaction at the time of confirmation. If you would like to purchase using an exact exchange rate, you would need to use a cryptocurrency exchange service with a buy/sell order book that allows you to set limit orders. Limit orders allow you to buy/sell at a specified rate. We are happy to check into this further to be able to clear up any miscommunication Neil. If you could, please send us a request at [email protected] to be able to address this issue further. Kind Regards, Wyre Support Team.
