SellbackbooksReviews of sellbackbooks.com

This company is unprofessional and dishonest. They are actually the company ecampus but using an umbrella name. Do not rent from them nor sell books to them as they will either attempt to charge you for items they rented out damaged already or they will lie and refuse to pay you for books you submit citing anything they can solely to avoid making payments. I sold them books in mew condition and they received them said it could take up to a month to verify their authenticity then a month later refused to pay for them saying that they were damaged.

Paid what they quoted in less then 2 weeks. Not bad at all. I will sell to them again soon.

Said payment was submitted, but there is nothing in my Paypal account. They keep giving the excuse that they put in a request to the accounting department to look into this, but I have received nothing. It has been almost a month.

I sold one book to them and got payment just fine. It took a long time but it was received in the time they said it would. I sold another book to them which they have effectively stolen as it has been almost a year with no payment. I have contacted customer service many times and have been given excuses on top of excuses for the lack of payment including that their department in charge of payment is behind. If they truly are behind for ALMSOT A YEAR then someone should have been fired. The real reason I believe is that they have stolen my textbook expecting I would just forget about it and resold it. I have warned every student I know to use other websites to sell back textbooks and to NEVER use this website due to it being a giant scam.
