I've been a member at SelfDecode for about 3 years. I have never regretted my decision to purchase and renew. I started by uploading a DNA report from a genealogical service, and it worked great. SelfDecode interoperability is awesome. There were only about 16 reports available when I first subscribed, but those were worth it. Now, with over 100 reports, this service is by far the best value available for understanding some root causes of chronic disease, and how to return to health. The new comprehensive diet and nutrition report is gold -- worth the cost by itself. Only one of the reports had been deficient in its completeness, but that report has since been rewritten and meets my standards of helpfulness and being informative. I matched the results from a popular microbiome assessment, and found them highly similar to the self-decode reports. If you're on the fence, time to get off! Self-Decode is a great value! Do for yourself what western medicine health providers won't...for the price of a co-pay.

I was suffering for years with health issues and doctors were not helping me figure out what was wrong. I took matters into my own hands & found Self Decode. Once the reports started rolling in, I discovered my problem. Gluten intolerance, dairy allergy and histamine intolerance. I changed my diet and added supplements I was lacking genetically.. now I am no longer in constant pain, no longer depressed or anxious, my digestive system is much better, the inflammation on my retina is practically gone and I can finally exercise without feeling like I am going to pass out. I'm quite happy to post this 5-star review for SelfDecode.com, as I believe they've more than earned it and continue to daily! I purchased a Lifetime Membership to SelfDecode.com in 2019. For several years before that, I'd perceived greatly benefitting from weekly newsletters posted by SelfHacked.com (in which they reported on the findings from peer-reviewed genetics/health-related journals and offered helpful advice to their audience). At my doctor's recommendation, I'd done 23andMe in 2013, having been diagnosed with CFS/M.E. years before that...Given the combination of many, many years of extreme suffering with my health, and the benefits I'd obtained from culled research, especially on SelfHacked.com, it was a no brainer for me to try their services when SelfDecode was launched! (I hold a M.S., Ed.S., and was a PhD-candidate who's long been concerned about privacy & only working with companies which evidence high ethics & integrity, and even more so when it comes to permitting access to such sensitive personal data. So, I did look into them as extensively as I could first ;-). With that backdrop, I can honestly say that their offerings have helped me realize significant improvements in not only my physical health, but in my mental, emotional and spiritual health, as well. Their personalized reports helped me understand both myself and other loved-ones for whom I also had genetic data (we all did 23andMe, and then SelfDecode). Aside from better understanding which medications were likely interacting with my genome in unhelpful ways and making beneficial changes, SelfDecode also includes reports on gene snps pertinent to mental, emotional & psychological health. Reviewing this content for myself & key family members helped me understand each of our plight & behavioral patterns in a much different way than I previously had...This let anger, blame & judgement transform into forgiveness & uncondtional love (even when it also meant keeping some distance, to be honest). And, since those negative emotions can increase inflammation in the body & serve to worsen physical health issues, I attribute that the range of information they provide their members can be EXTREMELY helpful on ALL the areas of health I've noted here. And, as their list of personalized reports just keeps growing, I expect to continue to be a happy and even healthier camper with them for a long time to come :)!!

Its so refreshing to sign up for something that exceeds your expectations! The fact that there's more reports coming out all the time is so good! Selfdecode has been great for me but also given me some clues as to what is going on with my kids health. I've utilised Selfdecode to assist me heal from pharmaceutical damage and chronic fatigue. I still have a ways to go but now at least I'm feeling some agency and curiosity and can appreciate the journey. The reports and recommendations usually confirm my hunches which is really cool and they have encouraged me to trust my intuition about my own body again.
