DO NOT USE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. If I could give a negative number, I would. We had binding estimate, paid deposit. Foreman Alshimaa Afifi arrives, states our itemized list will not fit in truck, lied about cubic feet in truck, and tried to add miscellaneous charges, NEVER DISCUSSED IN 2 PREVIOUS REVIEW CALLS with company prior to moving day. If you have ANY glass item, they will try to charge you$150 extra PER ITEM, NEVER DISCUSSED. We had china cabinet, bookshelf with glass doors, washer dryer with glass apparently ON OUR ITEMIZED LIST. We said fine, you won't take those. After over 90 minutes drama, calling company office for assistance multiple times, speaking with Freddie and Tim in Quality assurance, No ASSISTANCE. He loaded the truck to agreed point, marked by strap in truck. He then demanded cash payment ONLY. He had our items locked away. He then made offer for less money, half to leave for new home and half when he arrived there, as long as we called company and stated we canceled and he was never there. We paid him, they unloaded, and then we sent company text message about what occurred for their info. DO NOT USE!!!

We apologize for your negative experience. We did try and assist you the best we could by giving you multiple different options and offering a large discount on your additions. You did have a quality assurance appointment in which you stated you had no more additional items than what was stated during initial reservation, even after quality assurance procedures of going over common forgotten areas and asking you to go room by room with the initial inventory list in hand to make sure you weren't overlooking any items. On pick up day, the paperwork shows over 27 items that were not mentioned to us during initial reservation, nor during the quality assurance appointment. As far as glass items, we do not charge $150 for any item. Charges are based off the material and labor involved, and the item you are referring to was no small item. Please keep in mind that you asked us to do a special packing on this particular item, and when we provided you the cost, you agreed and signed for said charge. Selective Van Lines will never just arbitrarily charge you without you being aware of the charge, agree to the charge, and then sign for the charge. As far as forms of payment, we did not demand cash on delivery, we just denied using a credit card, which was told you multiple times in three different call recordings, and laid out in our paperwork that you signed during reservation that we accept all forms of payment for deposit, cash/postal service money order/zelle/cashiers check for pick up day, and cash and postal service money order for delivery. This is not unique to Selective Van Lines, but is the industry standard for the moving industry. Delivery payment must be some form of certifiable funds. We have made multiple attempts to come to a resolution with you, even dropping your price far more than we usually would on pick up day just to try and come to a resolution, in which you claimed our foreman was trying to make a side deal on his own, which he was not. He was specifically in communication the entire time with management in office. We unfortunately can not move additional items for free, but attempted to discount as far as we possibly could. We wish you the best in your new beginnings
