Was just scammed … wish I had check for review bfor paying the deposits and also a 150£ for management code … I feel foolish and stupid … have got the Barclays account .. if there’s a way I can get my money back please lemme know .. am pained as it is a hard earn money

I contacted an “escort” going by the username ‘Standard Lee’. Everything seemed normal at first, 50% payment before meeting for security reasons and then pay the rest after. Sure enough, I do the first payment and go to the location. All of a sudden I get another payment request for “security” another £50 but this time it was in gift cards. I was a desperate fool and did this 3 times! Meaning a total of £200 got taken off of me and I have no way of getting my money back. After the third time she then asked again and I knew it was a scam. I even asked “let me hear your voice say ‘this is not a scam’” and I got nothing back. In conclusion, BE CAREFUL. DON’T BE A DESPERATE IDIOT LIKE ME. Now I’m down £200 and have zero chance of seeing that money ever again

All the women I've contacted asked for a zip code then fictitiously created an address, based on that zip code. Then, they try to get you to send them money via cashapp, venmo etc... and, if you do, bye bye money. I'm sure you know this and it's problem your company motto "bye bye money" I'm going to escalate this in any way I can. I'm tired of being scammed!!!

A total and utter scammers' paradise. 100% of the profiles listed will happily exchange a chat with you along the following lines: 1. "Where are you located?", to which their answer would be "great, I can come to you or you can come to me - I'm local" 2. "This is my list of [insert very impressive services here" 3. "I charge [insert very attractive hourly charge here]", which you'd naturally agree 4. "But I require [50% or a specific amount] upfront, as a booking fee, paid directly by bank transfer (naturally !!), because I've been scammed before !!" NO EXCEPTIONS. I tried a sample of 100 profiles, just for kicks, and the words above are a copy-paste from answers. What's annoying is that eve worse than these scammers, is the website itself. They actually allow this fraud to go on and on, and I'm not surprised if they're actually orchestrating it.

You see the bad reviews, but with all the advertisers there, you assume there MUST be someone real, right? Nope. In a sample size of only two: Advised, as they "were on their way" (which, of course, they were not) of additional fees - (1) "pimp fee" (yes, that is exactly what she called it) that needed to be paid in advance and the other advised significantly excessive taxi fee (I know how much a 20 minute Uber costs). Requested all the transaction details when making a deposit (I assume so they will know more account and contact information they I would like to share). Needed to contact additional people to "confirm" the arrangement before she will meet. Required that the deposits made via payment applications were of the friends & family type so that they cannot be flagged as fraudulent and reimbursed, even when offering to pay the additional fee these transactions have. I received the requirements for the fees and additional contacts, etc. AFTER the arranged time for the meeting has come and gone. When I highlight the late changes and bait-n-switch tactics, then I am accused of delaying, and of course, then, she is a no-show. I will say this, they were able to offer day-of photos of the women in the profiles, so the sophistication is not minor league. But I have to agree with the others that all indications are that this is a scam.
